On my phone so I can’t quote anything effectively. But most of the justification for interludes being canon is given in the interludes themselves and aren’t confirmed by the story. While there is some confirmation of sub singularities in the story that doesn’t equate to every interlude being canon. Like the bit with Caligula where Da Vinci says those soldiers running around Rome would endanger history doesn’t make sense. Those mooks have no way of effecting true history in a fixed singularity.

And there’s Emiya’s interlude where they for some reason go to Fuyuki just to hear a lesson from him...and Emiya seemed a lot earlier in his job as counter guardian then though that could just be a product of shoddy writing.

Also “everything’s canon” is a cop out answer, even if it’s from Nasu.

Yes they do, if you let them be for too long. Literally explained in the main story @ Shinjuku chapter. You don't need an Art Graph in the area for a sub singularity to happen.

read go story and knows what its about

cuz singularity aint fixed immediately after
we removed the cause of the main problem, but healing process takes time
and in plenty interludes a small problem happening in a currently being repaired singularity is like prodding a wound in proccess of healing with a stick of wood . its gonna make it bad, worse, and longer to heal, possibly infecting you with jizzes and what not

because gudao has nobody to learn from of how to properly act as a magus and master so emiya is worried about him, and decide to impart some knowledge so gudao is better at this stuffs

What does canon even mean when you have chapters like Septem that makes little sense? Arguing about Canon is pointless because GO is one big package with everything together as one. Centered around Chapters, with interludes serving as enhancement for the characters. Everything is on the same level, so instead of complaining about what's canon instead just complain about the writing quality that they had. Because before America the TM weren't writing stuff seriously with equal attention. So yeah the early interludes suck, that's the point. They were still going at it as if writing a game, not a novel.

Septem was bad, but I don’t remember anything not making sense except Nero somehow being in all the fighting despite being a human.
