Achilles's blitzing is somewhat of a myth. We have never seen him actually completely outclass someone in speed to the point of opponents being unable to do anything about it lol, yet it's constantly brought up here about how he'd blitz someone like Kizaru against a bunch of no name pirateOriginally Posted by 8000

Easy answer.
He doesnt blitz anyone or comes close to doing it.

He owns Fran, Chiron can't actually see him while he's on his chariot, and IIRC the prose mentions he's basically teleporting during his fight in volume 5. "As long as it's within his line of sight, he's already there," I believe.
Karna is only one step slower than him. While still pretty good, his speed is nothing groundbreaking and it won't decide a fight with anyone on or above his level.
Best speed showing comes from the anime where he was blitzing Atalanta with 30% speed. Manga shows him parrying both Siegfried and Fran attacking simultaneously.
Siegfried could follow Achilles' movements without issue, he just couldn't pierce through his invulnerability. Chiron also repeatedly hit him from long distances without trouble.
In RPG terms, Achilles' comet speed increases Move, and maybe Initiative, but not Attack or Defense.
Chiron hitting Achilles was a special feat on it's own. That is it was future sight, him literally predicting where he was gonna be

Pretty sure Achilles was just playing around with Siegfried
He was being cocky yeah, tho that was in part just how he normally is and that he had Atalanta's backup. I would think he would have got more frustrated when he figures out that literally nothing he has can do that much against Siegfried.

True, and seeing their more pissed off fight would've been great, since maybe Balmung's (iirc spherical effect, why did it become normal beam sword) beam could work on Achilles heel, and Siegfried has his own weakness
Come to think of it, if Gordes wasnt stopped, not much would stop Achilles just murdering Siegfried
I don't think Achilles could kill Siegfried that easily. Sure he has a weakspot, but you need to get to his back for that which won't be easy if he's expecting it. Not even for Achilles's speed. Focus fire from both Atalanta and Achilles tho, that could have worked.

Achilles has B+ STR
Though abandoned, forgotten, and scorned as out-of-date dolls, they continue to carry out their mission, unchanged from the time they were designed.
Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Achilles fists and spear hit as hard as NPs, at least by the time he faces off against Chiron and Atalanta.
Doubt AoF could no sell him if he was going all out.
So does Mordred. She still couldn't get past it.

To be fair. Modifiers are temp boosts that she may or may not have activated. Plus Achilles has Bravery rank A+ for added damage.
NPs function on a separate scale than STR ranks and Achilles' spearmanship and punches could blow holes through Chiron and cancel out Evil Cat's Tauropolos. He can definitely push above A rank STRNo selling isn't AoF strong point.

I don't see how paticualy those feats can get past AoF. Punching through Chiron with a NP level punch, impressive but Chiron doesn't have any special defenses to block it. Saying that Achilles can do the same thing to Siegfried is pushing it, because that's saying one punch from Achilles can somehow do more damage then 72 stabs from Karna's spear could do. Now I'm sure he can push above and can probably hurt Siegfried, but I don't see him replicating what he did to Chiron by a longshot.
Also when was his spear attacks being NP level? I don't recall that ever being mentioned.

If she could have activated it she would have done it there, especially after noticing that AoF is just tough and could get past if it was strong enough. But instead she had to rely on a CS if I remember right.
