Shuwen doesn't have a martial art specifically designed to trip up experienced fighters. Combine that with her Instinct, and we're probably gonna see a skewered Shuwen.

I want to believe in old Li after what he did in LB3.
I still contend that EMIYA/Nameless is mid tier at least.
But in Extra the servants were nerfed by Hakuno's botched summoning and I don't know how much strength was regained by the time they fought shuwen.
Also surviving a glancing blow is in effect the Endurance stat in this case, given Mumei has C, Nero has D and Tamamo has E it seems they just didn't have enough HP.

Instinct is a plot device, it has no defined ruleset or measurable effect
Eh, it can somehow help against Tsubame Gaeshi but fails against Snake.
So I guess her survival is based on if the luck check is passed and she manages to somehow see through Shuwen.
It's more about Hakuno being a weak Master (the weakest) than some problem during the summoning
Hmmm... On the one hand, Arturia's Instinct + Luck did save her from certain death against Gáe Bolg; on the other, that was in an open fight, and Li Shuwen's invisibility + one-hit kill combo seems like it would be too much for her to defend against.
That said, wouldn't Li Shuwen want an open fight against her?
I think it depends on Shuwen's Master. If they're anything like Julius, I don't see him not using Invisibility to his advantage.
If it's a fight between Servants without Masters' involvements, then him wanting an open fight is highly likely.
He's mid tier at best.

While I agree with this. There is one measurable effect of instinct
Now the question is whether becoming one with the world is an obstacle that affects your sight or something else?During battle one is able to always feel the optimal course.
Visual and auditory obstacles are halved.

Instincts is basically the force. I’m actually joking less then usual on that. If you are trying to figure out if instincts can or can’t sense something, ask yourself whether or not you think it would work on a Jedi. Hell they both tend to get beaten in the same way, when instincts tips them off to danger but they make a mistake and believe themselves to be less in danger then they actually were
