With the current event in FGO and the scrapped Servants getting bonuses, I've been thinking about what could have changed if they were in the novel. Specifically the first battle between teams. I tried to distribute the Servants in a "fair" way that wouldn't change the premise immediately.

Red's lineup is hurt a lot by losing Karna, but they get a Berserker that's willing to work with them (at first) and their lineup was much better than Black's to begin with.
Black loses power in long distance fights (I don't think David is as good with his bow) but they do get a instakill weapon and possible NP seal. George is a stronger than Astolfo but still relies heavily on his Noble Phantasms.
Most importantly, character dynamics are going to change a lot. I think the first question would be who is sent to kill Jeanne? Does Amakusa even send anyone?
I'm willing to bet he doesn't, so that's one less fight there. Kintoki also probably doesn't go straight into Yggdimillenia territory.
Those are my suppositions:
George vs Siegfried: George would also save Sieg, but he can actually fight against Siegfried. Would Siegfried still be convinced to sacrifice himself, or would the fight end before that?
That's key to how things would develop, because in the actual battle...
Amakusa doesn't have Karna to send against Vlad, does he send Achilles and Atalante?
Kintoki is probably going to be sent into the battle, right?
Amakusa still goes out and meets Fran, I see no reason that would change.
What are the thoughts on this?

I can see Kintoki being a defector and going free agent like Spartacus.
George was cut because being a big deal Saint meant he would have words with Jeanne and Amakusa over the main conflict, so he's gonna be front and center.
I feel bad for Fiore since she's stuck with David. I'm not really sure what fake Benkei has to offer for story or battle, he's honestly the most superfluous.
I think that's sure to happen when he realizes what Amakusa did to the Masters, but I don't think he would do it immediately, which means there'd be no initial confrontation before the big battle.
Yeah, George is sure to play a main role and it really is hard to think of any way in which Benkei would be relevant.
Pretty sure with that set up everyone in Team Red gets to stay home and play board games while Achilles runs rampant and laughs in the face of the Black Faction's no divinity.
David has Divinity, but only at rank D so they're still fairly screwed.

As busted as Achilles is, I think they can beat him if they coordinate well enough.
With a team of Siegfried, George and David, for example. They have George's Divinity and Achilles is both careless with his true name and imprudent enough to be baited into the Ark. Also, couldn't Hamesh Avanim get rid of his invincibility?
