By the end of Journey to the West Sun Wukong becomes a Buddha, though. And Buddhas are scary. Also, he was so invincible that gods hammering at him with Wukong not doing anything didn't leave a scratch, so I'd guess GoB would have difficulty too. Finally, IIRC he wasn't divine at all, so with his strength he should be able to easily break Enkidu.
Gilgamesh has to take out his ultimate weapon to beat that, the Hakuno bonus.

He was literally born from a divine rock so definitely divine.
His buddha-ness is also shady because it was "given" to him, which uh, isn't how you transcend death.

Gilgamesh has an almost infinite amount of weapons (ranging from defensive weapons, clothing, jewelry and so on). Despite the Monkey King have amazing abilities, I believe that would be difficult to deal with someone like Gilgamesh. We aren't talking of a sword or two against a staff, but various weapons being fired like bullets at once. He has weapons that can clearly influence the opponent's status, such as when he mentioned about 夜の帳.
As Sun Wukong has divinity, it will be another negative point for him.
So, no offense towards Sun Wukong, he is incredible and legendary, but Gilgamesh certainly has weapons that will be used before thinking "let me end this with Ea", and Ea would probably be used if the RM were active or if he gets serious/angry.
Particularly, I prefer to imagine a fight between Gilgamesh (100% alive, no servant status here) and Brunestud or a fight between the five Magicians.
