    These are matchups happening on a flat featureless frictionless white plain 1v1 no items fox only final destination after all, so there is not "after". Sure in a real HGW using VS takes away Karna's real trump card but here it shouldn't be relevant if he wins the encounter with it

    She had Grail power and access to some of Tiamat's Authority (via Kingu) whenever he was near, and even when she was defeated when Kingu wasn't present she was within her temple. I'm not sure if any of her appearances in Babylonia really serve to gauge what Medusa transforming into Gorgon in a Grail War could do.

    Gorgon didn't have either of those at the time she used her noble phantasm.

    Yeah her biggest feat was against Tiamat, by that point she had no grail and no temple and yet she still broke her horn (or helped break it if it was already weakened by Quetz).
