Oh well, with this the Royal Navy Dream (meme) Team is pretty much online. I still have to get my 1st and 2nd fleets up to snuff, but I'll have a nice distraction whenever I take a break from the event to farm 3-4.

Carriers just hate me. Didn't get Centaur, didn't get Essex, and now it looks like Formidable will also elude me. At least I got Pasta Lulu; the other Italian ships don't really interest me (why didn't they release Vittorio Veneto!?).

I'm really tempted to grab that Jean Bart dress skin but I know that if I do I'm going to run out of dock space right after and not have anything to expand it with.

I've been slowly & systematically Retiring girls that I know I don't plan to use more or keep, even higher rarity ones, Space/slots are always scarce after all.

Among them are Takao, Prinz Eugen (they easily come around the Medal Shop rotation anyway) & Akagi (was just sitting there LB0 at lv.70 for a year, might as well make extra space).

Even some Event exclusives that really are just taking up space will eventually be 'temporarily demoted' too. I have girls like Alabama & Littorio but I'm just not really interested in raising & using them much.

Then there's girls like Wakaba the Squirrel that's kinda nice/cute to keep around but I also want to retire now but is basically unobtainable again in anyway even in the older Servers it seems.

I'm too much a collector to do that, I'd rather live with no skins (though it seems the game gives out free skins semi-regularly, so that's also very nice).

I mean, I could probably ditch some subs if I really wanted to. You only really need 3 and I must have at least 10. And other than the new challenge they don't really make much difference in my runs.

I use a lot of my gems for things that I like more. Was able to buy the Ring package twice & even get Ayanami her Kijin skin.

Don't care for the meta much.

I just don't like her (not hate mind you) enough to keep her. I did farm for her a while & had her all this time but after a year, finally resolved that she's not worth the ship space. Again, I wasn't using her. At all (same goes for Zuikaku).

If they can be bought in the Medal Shop or are Early Stage Drops, then they are partially expendable & can be re-obtained anytime if need be anyway.

And non-meta/'story' wise, you can actually see girls that you've "retired" walking around the place (like the Academy grounds) so technically, they're still living there...just no longer in 'active duty'.

Right before the event ended, I went on a marriage spree, lol. Only event shipgirls I managed to get were Zara x2, the workout costume girl, and Littorio.

Wishing Well arrived and I had no idea what to pick, so in the end I chose Clevelad and her SR sister. Took fiftyish cubes (of which about half were Bulldog, for some reason), but I deem it worth.
