Huh that first episode was actually better then i expected.

Also helps that i felt like i understood more things from this one episode then from a year of playing the game.

I really hate these kind of events. Clear the last node 60 times in 7 days? Easy, if you could turn on clearing mode like hard maps. But six fights per clear, even using autobattle and a horribly over leveled fleet, still takes an hour or two of repetitive grind a day just to get there. Doing dailies is one thing, there's tangible rewards every step of the way.

They're so lucky that U-110 is great, and I want her.

Doing this not two weeks after doing the exact same thing for Graf Spee is sorely testing my patience, to be sure. And unlike Graf Spee I don't have the luxury of just throwing whoever on auto and calling it a day, I need my best fleets and manualing the boss fight. I swear if U-110 wasn't cute I would've just dropped the game altogether until Divergent Chessboard reruns.

I'm not particularly fond of it but I don't hate it either.

Mostly because I use it as a relatively safe training ground for decent EXP & Affection raising as I've just finished maxing out Little Bel's & 3 Subs Love meter. Getting a cute Submarine Jack after all that is an extra treat.

Gotta' save Cubes & Gold for the rerun though...I really want big solo shark U-47 after all.

The real reason they took it down was because of the artist. The artist was kind of thin-skinned and had repeated iterations of bad behavior in the discord. He then drew the illustration with the mission of triggering certain folks and retaliation against one of his critics. He was looking to split the community with his stunt, too.

Unfortunately, the EN AL staff didn't know how to handle this so they went with the official statements they tweeted.

Also something about buying votes to win the contest so that also was a good reason for taking it down. But they went with "problematic in public" reasoning instead of just saying it was fraudulent voting.

If it's true the dude wanted to split the community, WOW. The EN staff's statement is just giving the artist what he wants and adding fuel to the fire. Should've been honest about the reasons being fraudulent voting and bad behavior. But now, you have the anti-censorship folks raising arms against western prude morality warriors, which is what it looks like the artist wanted. Removing his art is not even a punishment when you're still giving him his actual final goal

Well, then I'd say checkmate, but then I realize that I would prefer the imagery over the division. The division is just to spite the other guy, like using lightning on someone ahead of you in Mario Kart when they are right over a ravine. You might not win, but that other guy definitely won't.

I'd just like to point out that a) there's no real evidence vote fraud was involved (other than the guy having said "buy voted" at a random point in time- his english is apparently SEA Standard) and b) generating controversy is pretty much exactly the goal he allegedly started out with.

Personally I believe he's just an idiot who said the wrong thing at the wrong time, but even more idiotic are those crusading about censorship when the image in question was never censored (straight up removed) while there's an almost exactly the same one still in circulation.
