Removing stuff is another form of censorship. It's not just editing the image that counts as censorship. Removing it IS censorship. It's like when a VN is released and they remove the sex scenes (Noraneko english release, for example) That is censorship. Had they given the right reasons (suspicions of fraudulent voting and malicious behavior), it'd be fine.
But when it is "problematic in public"?
1) It's idiotic, given all the other stuff still there that's equally "problematic in public"
2)It's a moralist reason that is what anti-censorship reasonable people won't stand, thus giving the artist what looks to be his final goal ("triggered" people vs anti-censorship people conflict)

As always whenever the rallying cry of censorship is raised, what matters is not the action but the INTENT behind the action. You can't argue that the intent here was to "appease the public" when, I repeat, there's an almost identical composition still circulating, not to mention Formidable's solo piece or the infamous bathhouse screen.

I'm not claiming that. It's the staff claiming that, which makes it weird because of the reasons you gave, and tells me something else is going on.
Problem? It seems what was going on is suspicions of fraudulent voting and bad behavior from the artist.. But if the artist really had "triggering" and in general causing conflict in mind, the statement becomes even more stupid because it'd be giving the artist what he apparently wanted.

My problem is not the removal itself. My problem is that I think the official statement explaining why is stupid. I wouldn't care as much if it wasn't for how that statement is absolutely stupid given what we know

Not that I really care anymore (which I guess is the reason I ended up skipping), having so many SRs kinda loses its appeal when you never use them anyway.

So, I've finally maxed out Monarchs strengthening and luck trees. What do I do with all these extra research plans? Can I turn them into other characters? Sell them? I doubt the game will stop giving me them...

Nope, they are entirely useless. You can now start regretting rushing them every time you could.

Eh, I won't regret rushing the first wave since it gets them useable. And for the second I've always treated it as an afterthought. Then again, ever since I finished my second PR I've had a huge enough stockpile to almost immediately get them maxed. And since I'm on my 2nd season 2, I expect all the others to be smooth sailing. Though none of the rest really jump out at me, so it wouldn't really bother me if they weren't.

I use up the alternative mats to limit break the SSRs, especially for the really rare drops like Akagi and Kaga

-It's a crossover
-I don't really recongize any of these girls, must be another V-tuber cross
-Kasumi, huh. Nice ponytail. If her hair was a bit redder she could look like Kasumi from DOA
-Wait Marie Rose?! Is this actually a DOAXV cross?
-Nyotengu, so it's definitly DOA, and it's got Honkers too, so there's going to be a bunch of older more known fighters
-Come on, where's Helena already? Christie? I'll even take Tina and Mila at this point.
-Nope, just Kasumi and a bunch of the schoolgirl brigade with half of them being minor background characters.

-WHY?! Where are all the actually good characters?

Maybe I'll just fire up DOA5 and put some time in doing combos to training dummies.
