One of the Element affinities I have is Water, so this kind of job is easy. From the very start, Water is related to flows, forms, cycles, combinations, and manipulations. This Element has Cold and Wet features. From there, I can go with many paths to fix this with Geomancy.
There are many ways to practice Geomancy. Among my late family members, they even able to use it as a mean to curse or evoke planetary energy. In my case, it is some kind of a heretical application, as I am basing myself on something that can be considered a modern invention. Those are Recursion and electricity.
Recursion occurs when a thing is defined in terms of itself or of its type. Recursion is used in a variety of disciplines ranging from linguistics to logic. The most common application of recursion is in mathematics and computer science, where a function being defined is applied within its own definition. In my case, I apply it to the points represented by geomantic figures ascribed in cards.
Geomantic Figures
The cards I use are simple, metal cards with geomantic figures drawn on the top of it. Each of the figures is composed of four lines, each line containing either one or two points. Each line represents one of the four classical elements: from top to bottom, the lines represent Fire, Air, Water, and Earth. When a line has a single point, the element is said to be active; otherwise, with two points, the element is passive. Because there are four lines, and since each line can be either active or passive, there are 16, different figures. The different combinations of elements yield different representations or manifestations of the figure's energy.
"Via, Populus, sparkle!"
Status
As I chant, I throw two of the cards to the farthest corner of the hull. An impulse reminiscent of snapping branch can be felt from behind my neck, just behind the cervical vertebae, the place where my Magic Circuit and Crest located. With my Od flows inside them, the cards perfectly align themselves to facing each other, and then-
"Nothing... happens?" Dan asked as he saw nothing visibly unaltered in the hull.
"Please check what is below the ship."
So, Dan did just that, he figured the most convenient way is to peak through the sinkhole.
"This is-! How?"
Lines of electric bolts paralleling the cards as if connecting the tip of the opposing cards appears below the ships. Seemingly make the ship float half a meter at the top of the water surface.
"Well, I can't explain that even if I want to. Let just say I can generate electricity whenever I want."
Via and Populus, they are both incantations and the name of the cards, which are a complete opposite, yet compliment each other. As both have inner and outer elements represent Water. While 'sparkle' is my simple incantations to generate electricity easier.
Via only contains one point or active point ascribed in it, and it's mean The Way in Latin. It is considered a bad thing for divination and mostly applied for a simple offensive bolt. However, it is considered a good sign for journeys and road or in this case, for electricity to travel through the air.
Populus only contains two point or passive point ascribed in it, and it means The People in Latin. It is a very neutral sign in divination and mostly applied in conjecture with others to enhance a magecraft's effectiveness. It can be considered the need of others to proceed or in this case, I use it as a means to receive electricity sent from Via.
Water is a good conductor for electricity, so it is the easiest out of the main four elements to channel electricity, which luckily the element I born with. While the two opposing card with opposing characteristic's other purpose is to emulate North and South Pole of a magnet. Using my own element and the card's element, and generating electricity from the cards, I can create electricity in a span of a nanosecond.
Now what carry next is a simple phenomenon. Instead of making the ship able to float again, I simply put the ships above my electric lines. The one that contacts with the water are the electricity, the electricity can simply flow through the body of water, while carrying the ship above them, giving an illusion that the ship can float above the surface.
While it seems grand, the Magic Crest engraved in my back neck was tailored to handle electricity, so it doesn't as costly as doing a ritual with a similar level. I tend to use my electricity to control metal objects, which mostly what modern technology made of, hence my friends back at Professor Charisma's classroom nickname this as 'technopath', straight taken from DC comic. It was originally supposed for making fun of me, but I took a liking in the name myself.
Lestari Elliwyn's Status Screen Updated!
"10 hours, that's the time limit. With this, you can repair the ship permanently with ease right?"
As Dan and his crew still looking at the sinkhole (that no longer a 'sink' hole) in disbelief, Dan calls the other crew that I annoy earlier.
"Give her a room to rest."
"Come." Says the crew.
"Umm?"
"Well, this is my thanks. I don't like being indebted to someone, so I can escort you until we near the land." Says Dan, in his own way to a reaffirm that we still in a professional relationship.
"Thank you. Where are we going?" I bow to the man in response as a sign of gratitude.
"Fuyuki."
"What a coincidence, I am heading there too."

"For a pirate cabin, this room is surprisingly clean."
I say that, but clearly, there are signs that this room was recently used by one of them. For example, they forgot to clean the shirt hanging on the chair over there. It somewhat gross if you think it that way.
But still, I'm very tired. Stranded on the sea in a small raft for so long must take a toll on me.
But even so, this is the time that I can't drop my guard down the most.
The time limit is 10 hours. I calculated that is the fastest the time spent for repairing the ship with only three people. If I unable to do so, I will be forced to fight them head-on.

There is a reason why I choose 10 hours as the limit until my electric lines fade, it is the longest time that they can realistically fix the ship right away. Make it longer, they will postpone it until the next day. Make it faster, they will quickly fix it in a hurry.
With this enough time, I can rest for a while to regain some of my energy into its top form.
But still, there is a chance that they attack me while I sleep. So, setting some 'alarm' for protection can't be a bad idea.
It would be great if I can set a competent Boundary Field, but, I'm kinda... not taking attention about the subject back then. So I resort to something much less refrained.
"This will do."
The alarm I set is not a literal one. By setting my Rubeus on the door, I can create an 'alarm' to warn me if something happens. It will zap me enough to wake me up from a deep sleep if someone enters the room, without giving me a serious injury. I can set a much more powerful spell to knock the intruder unconscious, but that will defeat the purpose of resting to recovering my energy. It also set to wake me up in a much more gentle succession of sparks when it passed 2 hours mark.
Spell updated: Rubeus
Putting my glasses on the nearest table and bury my body in the moderately comfortable bed and pillow. My eyes feel pressured by extra weights and my vision just naturally fade away.
I suddenly fall asleep.
Tickles.
Tickles. Tickles.
The feeling of constant teasing can be felt in my hips. It continues until I conscious enough to identify the tickles comes from zaps of electricity and annoyed enough to get up from my slumber.
"Seems they are too busy draining the water below the basement."
I guess, it is a good thing nothing happens.
My body feels fresh, the stiffness in my body has been gone. More importantly, I can feel the magical energy that flows through my body is much more 'lively' than before, for lack of a better word.
Status
With this amount of energy, I think I can fire off a much more demanding spell.
I checked my wristwatch to confirm how many hours had spent, did I overslept or not.
Time limit
Exactly 2 hours have been spent, I guess constantly on the run for so long give me a very disciplined sleeping schedule. I have 8 hours left, enough time to successfully escape, but not enough to waste.
First, I need to review what I learn about this ship.
Let's check out that convenient map they give to me and simulate our routes.
Route simulation map
The map is very basic and didn't explain anything about the section of the ship. It is clearly designed for people already familiar with it.
That being said, I learn quite a lot from simply seeing things with my own eyes and ears.
From the way the man answers my stupid questions, it seems only the hull sustained some damage. Most importantly, the lifeboat seems okay from the look of how irritated he was, as if it was obvious. That also explains why they are somewhat calm from the danger of being sunk.
Now, the deck. I learn almost nothing about it. If it run by computer like most ships in this era operates, I can hack and gain total control of it and can take everyone out without worry.
About the position of the enemy, it could be great if I can use divination to locate them like most geomancers. But I can only divine the basic of the basic, like your run of a mile geomancer you can find in the street and internet. But simple reasoning pretty much confirms that both Dan and one of the crews still handling the water in the hull.
Now the enigmas, there are two. One, the person that shows me this room probably charged to take an eye of me. He probably stationed himself around the lifeboat in case I may try to escape. While the deck presumably handled by the fourth member that I yet to meet, but definitely exist for steering the ship. Modern ships can activate auto-pilots, but I doubt a pirate ship is that advanced.
There are two routes I can take. Either hijack their lifeboat or hijack the deck, I think a combat is unavoidable either way.
They come with their own danger too:
1) The battle against the person that guarded the lifeboat become too loud, Dan and the others will immediately rush in.
2) I waste my time securing the deck, and the boat doesn't run by computer. Then, the person there somehow able to inform the others and I will be cornered without nowhere to run.
Time limit
With that, now I know what choices I can choose and the risks waiting with it.
Alright, let's do this, me.
Critical Choice!

But before escaping, I think there is no harm to search the room first. They may have something I can use here. We have plenty of time to make sure this plan successful anyway.
Searching every drawer inside, the room is unfortunately empty. Except for a flashlight they forgot to put away.
I don't know if a flashlight will help me meaningfully but-
Take the flashlight?
Whatever.
Continuing my search, I spent much more time cluttering the room than I should. Why I'm so fixated to gain something in here, anyway?
2 hours have passed, turn out it was a huge waste of time.
Uncalculated Time limit?!
But then, I start to notice an item way too familiar for me and other kids from this millennium.
When I entered this room, I'm dead tired so I don't really notice what is inside the room. I also way too sleepy to notice anything when I just woke up.
Yes... There is something great I completely missed before.
"Hmmmmm?"
That beautiful, slim figure of a piece of technology reminiscent of the famous painting Mona Lisa.
"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?"
Those cord cables connecting to the entire ship curling convolutedly like a Picasso abstract.
TRACK #1 EQUILIBRIUM FORTUNE (Not optional)
What a beautiful pirate ship. That is a fucking laptop on the desk, isn't it?
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!
You shouldn't be excited, Lestari Elliwyn! Remember rule number 1 that grandpa taught you, never drop your guard down.
Isn't like the ship is modern enough to be run with a computer right?
I activate the laptop, and it was charged fully because it is connected to its charging cord. But unfortunately, it was password protected as expected.
Anyway, let's hack it first! Hack it!
"Converting Active point and Passive point into Binary number 1 and 0. Converting divination into code. Recursion, activate!"
I tried to move the card randomly, and an input error window immediately pops out in the laptop. Confirming that I already connect the geomantic figures with the computer.
Recursion is my signature magecraft. It is my pride that even grandpa can't imitate. I figured as a human living in the 21st century, there is no way I can ignore technology like other Magi.
What is happening right now is similar with a divination. All of my geomantic card dance in the air, shuffling themselves automatically, making a various set of combination between Active point and Passive point.
01101001 01110011 00100000 01100011 01101111 01101111 01101100 00100000 01000100 01100001 01101110

Yes, what I do is pretty much identical with brute-force attack in cryptography. Basically, the geomantic figures automatically try every possible combination to unlock the password at a rapid speed.
01000100 01100001 01101110 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01100011 01101111 01101111 01101100
The lock screen faded, and I'm entering a desktop screen, I successfully access the laptop.
Wiseup!
"Fwehehehe..."
Don't be happy this early, me!
First, let check out if the laptop connected to the ship's main server.
The geomantic figures continue to shuffle themselves searching the possible combination to synchronize with the laptop.
A new window pops out with other desktop screens can be seen from this PC, I successfully backdoor the entire ship.
"Fweheh... hehehe... hehehehehehe! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry! But this is too sad and easy!
I mean, it has everything! From the ship server, digital steering wheel, and hidden cameras! Everything here! This ship is basically my workshop now!
Haaaaaaah! I take a deep breath...
I'm sorry, Mr. Dan. I'm really sorry about this!
***
"This is suck... Why I lost at rock-paper-scissors at a time like this?"
In the deck, one of the crews charged to secure and steer the ship in case something happens. He doesn't want the important job, and he was very confident for always being very lucky in the past, they call him 'Johnny the Lucky Star' for a reason, yet he still lost. He heard that the fugitive magician was a cute girl from his coworker, but he unable to check her out because of that. He grumpily bad mouths his boss to make his heart feels better.
***
Near the lifeboat, one of the crews still wondering to himself.
"Why did I give the map of the ship to a magician? Can't she send curses from afar or something? Like Ojha Board?"
He was an orphan that Dan saved back then, so he adores the man like a god. As long it is for his sake, he will do anything dirty without question. He can only hope everything is okay, and his boss will not ask him to hold responsible if things go south.
***
In the hull, Dan and his crew still in their war against water leaks. They progress quite smoothly, as the water is almost drained completely.
It was a very good day for Dan.
"Boss, stop grinning, it is creepy." Says the crew.
How can he not enjoy this? His ship can be repaired miraculously for free and there is the world most wanted criminal inside it, seemingly trust him completely.
"C’mon, you must grin at this kind of occasions."
Dan Umida was always a free man, he doesn't like being tied to the law, that is why he chooses to be a pirate than serving a Faction. But if he can give that girl to any Factions, he will be rewarded handsomely. He can become a royalty as a demand, he can ask for a seat in the parliament, or he can ask a large sum of money and done with life.
"If she resists, who knows what she can do." Says the crew, cynically.
"Look, we have this special guns right?" Dan shows a pistol to his crew.
He may not know the exact mechanism, but the pistol has a special ability to bypass Magecraft. It was made by the Atlas Academy to supply the Sultanate, the Faction in the Middle East. With four of them carrying the same pistol, he has a very high chance to defeat her. Not only that, he already hides another crew member in the deck as a backup, everything proceeds smoothly like he always planned.
If only he didn't connect every electrical lines and server to the ship. She will not spy them with his own hidden camera. And he may have a chance to fire off the pistols he so hard to acquires for this day.
But Alas...
"Puer." A spell announced through the speaker that was mostly used to inform all the crew about storms and other things. While it was unnecessary, she has an urge to mess with everyone here.
"Hmm?"
A strong electric shock bolted the entire ship except for the bedroom. In an instant, everyone in the ship was knocked unconscious except Lestari Elliwyn.
Objective: Run away or defeat all of them before they finish repairing the ship completed!
Wiseup!
I have not left the bedroom, not even opened the door that leads to the corridor until now. I can exactly see what happens to every single of them from a laptop. The result is very clear and can be seen on the monitor.
"Yaaaaay! Good ol' hacking! Good ol' hacking! What a nice day to be alive!"
Dream Shroud Hijacking
Anyway, they were lying down pathetically like a dead fi- I mean, unconscious people.
Now... What should I do with these guys?
Since I already hack this entire ship, I can run it without problem. Maybe, I should tie them up with rope or something? this is a ship, there is probably one lying around somewhere for emergency utility.
But I don't know what I should do with them.
They definitely mean harm to me, those live confession video doesn't need to be contested. But I feel bad if I being unnecessarily cruel toward them, they did not do anything yet.
Should I-

One of the factions is called the Sultanate hmmm? If they're all ruled by Servants, then its ruler is probably someone from post-Islamic Arabia, not one that ever held the title of Caliph though. I wonder if Egypt is part of the Sultanate

wait, we need crews to run a ship dammit, sure we can operate it with our magecraft, but how about the maintenance of the ship and stuff? I think later we can just persuade the crews to help us much easier. Also, WE are the one who need the lifeboat, so giving the lifeboat for them wouldn't really be advantageous.
so
Just tie them up and later persuade/intimidate/bribe the crews into helping us.

After searching for ropes, I quickly tie all of them from their legs, hands, and body. Lining them next to the lifeboat, a brilliant idea suddenly sparks in my head.
"They mentioned guns before..."
I quickly search all of their clothes and found four fully loaded pistols inside. I was not paying attention at first, but this thing seems very dangerous.
"Those are...! Mystic Codes?!"
The appearance of the guns and bullets are normal enough, but I can feel some sort of enchantment inside each gun. It seems the enchantment will automatically apply to the bullets by some sort of magical mechanisms, coating the bullets with magical energy.
"This doesn't seem being made to kill a Magus to me."
More like, to allow them to have a chance fighting Servant. Are they getting fooled by the gun's distributor? Anyway, I consider these a prize and continue searching for their body. I found something that I really really need.
"Jackpot!"
A literal one, I took all their wallets and phones. I take out the cards inside, activate each phone and...
"Recursion, activate!"
Hack all their credit and debit card to mine.
Wiseup!
I originally will never consider doing this, because Elliwyn was not a poor family. But since becoming a fugitive, my cards have been terminated and forced to make a new one without any money inside. Stealing the cards also pointless as they can just immediately block their own accounts.
As I done with them, I put them one by one to the lifeboat. I consider this being merciful, as I totally can kill them outright or leave them on the ocean to be eaten by sharks.
Using my Via and Populus, I continue to control the ship to my destination. After quite sometimes, a silhouette of a city from afar finally can be seen.

INTERLUDE

Location: Lifeboat, Pacific Ocean

Dan Umida was mad.
Not only he let a ticket for easy life slip by in front of his own eyes, his prized and most beloved item, his pirate ship, stolen by that very same ticket.
But he is not as temperamental as his crew, Johnny.
"That bitch! If we meet again, I will kill her for sure!"
"Why you guys let her roam freely anyway? If only I'm not the one charged to steer the ship!" Johnny add.
"Johnny."
"You, you are the one that leads her to the room, do you? Do you have anything to say?" Johnny pushes one of his friends.
"Johnny!"
"What? Not even you have the right to say, boss. Heh, 'former boss' I mean! A pirate captain without his ship has no difference with a barnacle!"
"Heeeh, can you tell me more about this girl that stole your ship?" A female voice, interrupt.
"Don't you listen to what I say earlier- Huh?"
Suddenly, a girl joined their conversation, seemingly travels the sea on a small sailboat. It is something that can't be seen anywhere unless visiting a museum. But they are way too surprised and dumbfounded to notice as everything about her is way too absurd, they don't even know where to start.
How could anyone not be surprised? From her outdated admiral jacket, the cutlass and musket hanging on her belt, to her seeming teenager appearance are as stand out as 90 years old attending a gaming convention.
"Who the hell are you, a cosplay girl?! Right now, I really want to murder some bitch, you will do-!" Johnny, still angry after being humiliated by the magician girl he doesn't even meet, found a new target for his anger.
"Johnny-! STOP!" Dan yells and forces his former subordinate to hold his head down.
"what the hell do you think you are doing-?!"
"She is MY boss." Dan sweats, uncharacteristically losing his composure.
"Yo-! Nice to meet you, everyone!"
"The Boss's... boss...? Then, she is..."
"Hmm... Since we are near Japan, I'll call you Lackey #780087-kun!" The girl that known as the boss of a boss pirate ignores the pirate threat like it was a passing wind, as her song-like tone doesn't even change and proceed using Japanese honorific that she doesn't really familiar of.
"A Servant..."
Servant.
Someone that serve their entire life for the glory of the nation, The top dog among top dogs of a Faction. That's the accepted meaning of that term, as they all mysteriously identify themselves such.
Not only they held a position of power in their respective Faction, but they also military capable, no- they are a military strength compared to an army on their own. They are seemingly superhuman people that lead military attacks heads on. Reminiscent of the ideal medieval leaders like the warlords or kings charging on the front line alongside their knights from history and myths. That's how awe-inspiring their impression gives.
Even a lowly pirate knows that much, as it is a common knowledge.
"Yup, yup! You catch on quick, Goon #807780-kun! You are a good private it seems. So... I'll ask again? Where did the girl go?"
"Ah...!" But Johnny, whose designed pirate number changes from 780087 into 807780 in a mere second can only stutter in fear.
"She mentions going to Fuyuki before..." The crew that in charge to protect the lifeboat, answers.
"Ah, I see! Of course, she goes there! Everything made sense now! Thank you, thank you! Here some money as thanks." She tossed a briefcase, which has paper money of ridiculous amount inside.
"Ummm..." Of course, they were confused as they were happy with the sudden change of the event.
"With that amount, you can stop pirating right? A desire for a free life is one thing, but to invade others freedom for the sake of your own, that's I can't approve of." Says the girl while patting Johnny's head playfully.
"Ah... Sure... thanks?" says Johnny in confusion.
"Just accept it, accept it! there is no need to worry too much!"
She jumped off to her sailboat and leaves.
"Times out, hope you guys a nice day. Adios amigos!"
On the horizon, another sailship thrice the size of the boat can be seen from afar. A sailship in the 21st century is already weird in itself, but the sight that the sailboat seemingly docks and combine to the sailship is much more unbelievable.
"...Is she really our boss?"
"Yeah, she is just that weird." Dan can only be dumbfounded, as his worst day has been transformed into the best day of his life.
Hanging on the ropes to handle the sails without care like a monkey, she gazes through the direction of the city Fuyuki in anticipation. The fact that she doesn't need a compass or other directional machine assistance to pinpoint the exact direction show how much she understood the sea.
Servant
"Ah... finally found you! I have wanted to meet you since forever, Master-chan ❤."
The sailship start to move to the city, seemingly moved by her will, as there is no single crew inside except its captain.

This is the place where everything started. The ritual called Holy Grail War, selecting 7 Magus to summon 7 Servant in a deathmatch to attain the Holy Grail for their wish to be granted.
For almost five years I have been traveling the world to get here, hoping for finding a way to transfer the mark that appears in my left hand to someone who is willing or remove it for eternity.
Yes, the mark on my left hand that signifies the status of a Master, a participant of the Holy Grail War.

A Command Spell.
There is too much grief that I had endured for so long because of this, my freedom, my life, my family, all of them robbed. If there is a person who wants a single shot to reach the root or getting their wish granted, I will happily transfer this cursed thing to them.
But no one capable doing that. Master of evocation, curse, magical surgery, other magecrafts, and even surgical science; I have tried everything but there is no person able to remove this mark from me. And my last shot is the three founding family resides in this city.
But before the city where the HGW birthed, this is a military headquarter of one of the Factions exist in the world foremost.
Which I learned that fact quite late.
WELCOME TO NEW JAPAN
===
The introduction chapter has ended, an unknown face dropped and we enter the first Faction, New Japan!
As for 34, Lestari doesn't need to repair or maintain the ship as she can make it levitate with her electricity. The only reason why she gives the spell 10-hour limit is that she was planning for runaway/capture the ship. While all of your points are reasonable and certainly you can recruit the pirates to be your friends, others already voted their vote so we go with this choice either way.
