It was an usual day for me, browsing obscure websites to find some exotic stuff, until i stumbled upon a soundless clip of the fight between Shiki and Souren, the emotion was so unbelievably intense i stopped the clip and decided to watch KnK movies. Little did i know how intellectual it was, Aozaki made me say for the first time "I understood every word of the sentence, yet i don't get it.". For the first time, i had to take pen and paper while rewatching some parts, realizing how deep and concrete was the worldbuilding.
And then, while reading the fandom page (didnt know it was low quality back then) about the blond puppeteer, it appeared this guy had a cameo in Fate Zero, watched 6 years ago. This anime i considered as "top quality advertisement for a gacha", was actually the sequel albeit prequel of a very big franchise. Many voices were saying the VN was better than the multiples anime, but my version was so obsolete i searched a patch, and this was on BL.
Kinda more a story upon getting into BL rather than TM, but in my view BL is the true core of TM, so getting into TM implies reaching BL at one point.

A friend showed me the Excalibur scene from Zero. I don't think that's what convinced me to watch Zero though, I think I just wanted to have something to talk about with my new friend. So I started with Zero. However, I quickly understood while watching Stay Night right after that I had watched things in the wrong order, so now I'm a SN->Zero apologist. Now I've watched everything there is to watch. I've been playing GO NA since 2 months after release and read a bunch of the manga, as well as the visual novels.
First ran into clips of DEEN Stay Night on old Youtube top ten anime videos, then ran into fanfiction which referenced or involved Fate/stay night in some way. Eventually wound up diving into Extra for reasons I don't really remember, really liked it, and from there started playing and reading other entries in the franchise.
As for what's most recently gotten me back into Type Moon, it's the release of the CCC patch. So now I've been driving myself mad for the past bit-less-than-three weeks playing and thinking about it.
Relatable. CCC has given me a brainrot I haven't had since playing Mahoyo for the first time.

Me and my brother really got into anime in December of 2019 after watching the 3 seasons of attack on titan that were out at the time, so, with the pandemic a few months later and this new trove of stories to enjoy, it was only a matter of time before we watched Fate/Zero. We both ended up really enjoying it, so we decided to see more of Fate. He watched the UBW anime, thought it was meh and stopped there, while I went straight to the visual novel and loved it more than I had Zero.
The rest should be similar to others that went head-first into Type-Moon: I read F/HA, OG Tsukihime, Kagetsu Tohya, Mahoyo and a few other things. I played Extra right around when the CCC TL was released, so I got to go from one straight to the other. However, after Zero the only Type-Moon anime I watched was KnK, since what I heard from both the internet and my brother doesn't make me very enthusiastic to check the other animes.
So far, I haven't been disappointed and am still excited to see more, but most of what's left (other than the entirety of Grand Order) is Fate spinoffs with none of Nasu's writing, so I should probably lower my expectations for future stuff.

I'm still playing CCC. Finished playing with Archer and Gil and I'm now doing the CCC route with Saber. After that I'll probably watch Last Encore.
