I just completed smt 4 and was in dire need of another turn-based jrpg, so i searched trough youtube video's and i saw this Thumbnail of bb's secret garden, my teenage brain of course got curios and clicked on it, the gameplay aswell as nameless design got me immediatly hooked, so i brought vanilla extra under the impression that it was CCC.
After completing it i thought for sure there's another game of this and somebody told me to "play" stay night and got dissapointed cuz of the lack of gameplay, but the story was cool tho.

It's really sad. You'd think that with more technological progress more people would be tech literate, but I guess most things are just too easy to access nowadays, so the opposite happens.

I'm sure the sheer number of tech-savy people online has risen. But they are massively drowned out by... uhh... normies... for the lack of a better word. It's what always happens when something becomes so accessible.

The patch comes with instructions.
There are a couple things you need beforehand, namely a PSP emulator and the game's ISO, which are a google search away.

Whatever annoyances you get in the process of making it work, I can assure you, CCC is worth the hassle.

If you own the game legally there are ways to extract the ISO yourself, but honestly I don't think anyone's going to blame you for just downloading it directly if you already have a copy.

Applying patches like this is honestly super easy if you can follow instructions.

Realized I never replied to this thread.
I wish I remembered who it was, but thank you to the random reddit user who told me to play FSN before watching the anime about a decade ago. It was an incredible experience to go in knowing nothing about the series, not even who Saber was. I got into it originally because I'm a big history and mythology buff, and the moments where you find out that each servant is someone you've read legends about (or never heard of, in poor Kojiro's case) is a really cool experience that's more or less unique to Fate.
I think this is the moment I was totally hooked:

Nowadays I love Nasu's work for a bunch of reasons, and I still haven't read all of it - someday, Kagetsu Tohya! - but that original concept of mythological figures battling it out still has a special place in my heart.
