The problem was that her soul was shattering during that "bitch fit" (which is what the red static in her internal thoughts was showing, even after all this time, it seems people don't take seriously her condition at that point, Ilya even said a couple days prior it was a miracle her personality wasn't overwritten). If, and there is a very slight if, since Saber and Sakura originally had a plan (they mention it since Alter says there was something where they'd have salvation, even if the result was death multiple times) to deal with the blackening and the current situation. It won't be happy, but there could be an end to things with Alter and Sakura's plan with the grail.

Sakura's 'plan' by the end of HF was "Fuck the world, kill everyone for not saving me, A GOD AM I". The reason I called it a 'bitch fit' was because once she snapped and went Dark Sakura she was literally trying to commit genocide because her life was so bad, nobody wants to help me, please ignore the fact that Shirou and Rin are trying to do so right the fuck now.

Kotomine even call her out for trying to pretend that she's lost her mind to the mud when really she's just having a hissy fit and is still herself due to her own compatibility with the Darkness in the Grail.

That would be ignoring what Saber was implying when she talked about that he should stop going after Sakura because she would find salvation, even if it ended with her death. Plus, and this was mentioned when Shirou gets his arm cut off by Saber that Sakura said she wants him to live (which Shdou actually has a chance to clarify that conversation if its added in the movie).

The main points are that she IS being affected and Kirei was being slightly disingenuous when he mentioned to Shirou hours earlier that Sakura was on the precipice of losing herself. He was basically opening her wounds like he did with Shirou way back for the 'Rejoice, young man, for your wish has come true, scene". If Sakura really wanted genocide, she could have done it several times over by that point. As said before Ilya the day before had said she was surprised that she was even still her at that point, so her soul is fracturing under the strain, it ain't a case of being a tad tipsy.
Mainly because we got a taste of that with Unlimited Codes, where she ends up as just a conduit for AM, and forgets everything, and it implies she just gets engulfed and 'Sakura' is literally no more and all her thoughts are of being born and going into the outer world.

I don't know if I've gone off on it since she showed up in NA, but Scheherazade is the same for me. I've always hated her design, but holy shit did they butcher her character. One of my favourite mythological protagonists and there's nothing redeemable there.

I'm actually hyped for Odysseus, being my favourtite greek hero, but two years is a long time for them to turn him into another David.
