Honestly complaints about obnoxious Harry Potter fans have gotten almost as old as said fans themselves at this point. While I get overzealous fans who try to view everything through the lens of their favorite book can be annoying, those aren't representative of the broader fanbase, much less everyone who enjoys novels...

I think most of the obnoxious ones just faded away after the movie series ended, or at least that's the impression left in me, admittedly I've never kept huge tabs on the fandom.

Do agree on that. Tsuki no Sango is an underrated gem and I would not be opposed to more stories set in the universe. but not direct sequels, leave the original ending the way it is.

Don't like her. Same with Chiwa Saito. Kana Ueda I liked, then I grew increasingly critical until not liking or disliking her.

I also went from loving to hating Takahiro Sakurai.

Sango is a story I enjoy a lot. I don't think it's amazing objectively, but I enjoy it a lot.

It's a very small contained story that isn't about the setting or anything.

Really it's pretty much like Notes in that regard. Not that it's shy about the parallels.
