I find it funny how somehow this thread consistently returns to discussing what OP/EDs are overrated and not, and how it's always the same responses (probably because for the most part, it also involves the same people). History truly does repeat itself.

This is completely canon and a deliberate reference. Both Hokuto Shinken and the Ripple are based on jew-jitsu. Joshua ben Joseph was legitimately the first JoJo, and Kenshiro and all of his brothers look and taste like Jesus because they literally descend from Jesus the greatest puncher of all time. That's why Summer Martha's NP has the kanji cut-in thing in it, to look more like one of Kenshiro's techniques.

And it was JoJo... which I also put into "watchlist hell" due to not interesting me enough.

As for OPs, the only OPs worth watching are the Realta Nua ones, and even then only Arcadia and Another Heaven.
