Ozymandias probably did put one there.

Like it feels like instead of armies they just send the knights to do anything, or how exalispam is a thing living saber could do ect

    But on lb7

I feel like one issue is that most people mix up aztecs and mayans, even I do it honestly even though I know there different

Also fun fact, aztecs and mayan are recent, as in universities in england are older than there civilizations, sure we know the myths had precessors but one issue is that we have only a partial picture at best, like gods who we just know the name of and no context is given

That sort of stuff is out the window with Lostbelts for the most part let's be real.

Not completely sure if it's unpopular but I think it is: I wish Extella got more sequels.

Now truth be told I don't give two shits about the plot, I just enjoy Musou action, and I appreciate the opportunity to play as servants in fast paced action and using Gilles and Darius in a game and it actually being fun.

There's a bunch of servants that would fit right in, like Avicebron making golems for reinforcement, Semiramis summoning her hanging gardens, Serenity enveloping the area in poison and Jack the same with mist, also a perfect stage for more Jason action, and the list goes on.

I realize a lot of this is in Link in some way or another but I'd still like to see more. I suppose the musou style is hit or miss for most people.

The only way that could have happened is if LB Britain had any connection to PHH and wasn't basically an Isekai.

    Agree 100%

Extella was shit but Link was a great game and it'd be shame to stop there. Fate musou has to go on.

I don't understand defending Takeuchi's art style. He's the only pro artist I know whose anatomy sucked so badly it caused fights to the point of a public apology. Since then he hasn't really pushed himself outside of his comfort zone either, at worst still attached to cheating out out of drawing hands, new poses or just sticking curtain tassels on everything. His other work, Planet Valkyrie looks fine until you notice that it's literally the same top and thighhigh outfit with varying degrees of a cuts in the midsection, same-ish body types, and hairstyles we've mostly seen before just with more extreme colours. Comparatively Yaegashi Nan is a similarly situated artist who was mostly attached to the Da Capo and Senran IPs but when he got the chance to work on the similar Assault Lily project you could plainly see that he still rapidly cycled through art styles without controversy. But even then the fanbase around the latter isn't even that big. Takeuchi has been a massive pillar of the doujinshi scene so he enjoys a significant pool of talent around him. But he doesn't develop much or take offers to work outside the Type Moon bubble. Maybe he just has a pseudonym I don't know about where he does all the fun stuff but till I do I think its perfectly fine to accept that he has problems as an artist.

Is that supposed to be an unpopular opinion?

I have the feeling people defending him are in the minority these days.

(That said, welcome to the forum!)

I'd say people defending him are a majority on at least sites like Twitter and Reddit, or at the very least, they're the ones most visible when it comes to the topic. Everywhere else though, yeah, they're definitely the minority. This is purely going off of what I've personally seen though.

Aren't the Mayans more in Mesoamerica? With LB7 smack dab on the middle of South America, you'd think the Incas would be the ones feature. Never mind the hundreds of other tribes who lived in the Amazon and its adjacent areas.

But knowing how these things go, we'll probably just get transplanted Aztec lore and ORT chilling in the middle of nowhere.

It's for exactly reasons like that I spend most of my time here coming up with some proper foundations for a South American nasuverse.

I suppose so, like Neo said its more unpopular on bigger social media channels. More than that I feel like the faces and hairstyles (like Ryougi's hair extensions making no sense) aren't put under as much scrutiny as they should.
(Thanks! I've hopped in here from time to time as a guest for a few years so I'm happy to be here.)

Sorry I actually misremembered it apparently. I read the tsukikan page over a decade ago and cited that but the section in question simply brings up his Masamune Shirow influence without citing an apology or anything like that. All I know is the spaghetti limbs calmed down at a certain point. That said there's a conversation to be had in folks like Clamp and Masamune getting away with long limbs because of the more svelte silhouettes but not TM characters.
