I hope you're saying this aware it's fanon shipping.

Yeah, after all, this is about "popularity". Then again, even their canon interactions were sorta shippy from Achilles' end, though it may just be really strong hero worship.
If making it past the dead end wasn’t practically impossible Atlas magi wouldn’t go so insane.
Tsukihime is very dull and boring. The only entertaining entries of that franchise are the Melty Blood games.
I'll give you anything else that's to do with Achilles' personality, but everything else is squarely "boys and girls can't share personal space or it's love".

Sure, Cu as a Heroic Spirit is technically thousands of years old, but it's not like he grew older on the Throne in a normal sense (either physically or mentally). For all intents and purposes he's the same age as when he died in life, which is around 20 at most. Not much older than Bazett at all.
The hero worship is more of a problem, admittedly, but it's not like that sort of thing is unprecedented in healthy relationships either. Also, if you were to consider the generation gap a real issue you'd have to call Saber (a several hundred year old king) a pedo for falling in love with Shirou (a highschool boy), which I don't think anyone has done seriously. Feels like a bit of a double standard there.

It's not actually the generational gap that bothers me about Achilles and Atalante. It's the whole she's an honorary auntie thing. I've grown up with several of those, so the idea of attempting to enter a relationship with one of my parent's friends honestly is a little ugh...
That's fair enough. The fact they existed contemporaneously in life (even if they never met) makes it different than Cu and Bazett, where it's basically a time-travel romance for all intents and purposes. With Achilles and Atalante, it'd be like travelling back in time and screwing one of your "honorary aunts" which she was the same age as you, which could still come off as creepy even without any age or maturity gap.
Oh I thought we were just naming incredibly shitty het ships did i misread the situation
