And I am Viet, so I will keep calling all of the mushi (bọ) creatures as sâu bọ, côn trùng aka insects, needless nitpicking to make you look smart won't make you look smart. Arachnids does have a Viet term that is "lớp hình nhện" (spider-class), but no one use that in normal conversation. Either call it a spider (nhện) or a bug/insect (sâu bọ).
And Kirei said 虫. He was sent to deal with the 虫, so I repeated that he went there to deal with the 虫, it's in the text. If your argument is "ORT is not a 虫 so clearly ORT is no longer there" then be my guest. The JP line is to point out that they also consider spiders as 虫, and that was what Kirei did.
