As a Australian I'm conflicted on nasu and co even touching our country
I'm more on the side 'dont touch it' because they would mangle it or fetishize it i feel.
and yes i know bout requiem.
Our country is mangled and fetishized by nature. Any amount he did it would not be enough to portray it in its entirety.

Either australia or brazil?
fundamentally there is a few issues, even as a australian finding shit on aboroginal stuff is damn hard, then you got the elephant in the room of the sheer theorized age of most of the oral myths, beings 10k+ years old
THEN you got other nuances like the idea that the myths never really ended, the dreamtime is always and will be
You really don't know if TM will do well with Australia but with Brazil? They have already fucked up by having Samba Quetz exist so our odds of getting something good are close to zero.
Yeahhhhh
honestly the space bacteria part is a bit dumb, but it somehow feels less dumb the space mecha, I guess because its not in your face and the myths already have a heavy 'star' based feel?
Eh, if cultural accuracy is your goal, you've already lost by turning to Nasu. His brand is: neverportrayanythingaccurately™.
I just wish he featured more of Brasil in general.

I think it's naive to expect any real specificity as to what south american country we'll be going to as opposed to it continuously being referred to as "south america" in much the same way as any place in LB6 was just "Britain", alongside a mention here and there that "where we're standing now would have been X place in PHH, but..."
Same goes for the Servants to appear in the chapter tbh, the track record for them actually being from the place the chapter takes in isn't amazing, to be honest, and we can already guess that Daybit's Servant is either Japanese or Chinese, most likely the latter, as opposed to the other Crypter Servants have all been specific to the area. On top of that we'll have the Alien God and Kirei taking up parts of the cast, so unless this is another HUGE chapter, I doubt we're seeing too many other characters whatsoever, let alone a bunch of specifically Brazilian ones. As if whoever's writing LB7 even knows what the difference between Brazil and other South American countries is.
I'm expecting LB7 to be some dinosaur thing given the "Latin America is dinosaurs because the meteor landed in Mexico" and "all of Latin America is the same" precedents set by Quetz.

And also the general common imagery of dinosaurs in primal jungles used in pop culture.
I mean fundamentally he will do lots of research...
When he wants to wank something super hard, like musashi and her like 5+ pages of syncrenitism explanations
I mean
LB's 3, 5 and 6 had plenty of local Servants
Alright, I actually took a look and it averages to about 72% as local servants.
Russia has 2/7 = 29%
Scandinavia has 6/7 = 86%
China has 9/11 = 82%
India has 6/9 = 66%
Atlantis + Olympus has 11/16 = 69%
Heian has 12/16 = 75%
Britain has 10/10 = 100%
Depends a bit on how you count (I didn't count recurring characters like Chaldea's core cast or Musashi or the Apostles) but one more or less here or there doesn't change it by a whole lot.
Either way, I'll concede that point, but stand by the point that I'm all but certain that just because it seemingly covers a lot of Brazil, they'll probably rarely if ever reference Brazil directly and it'll just be "South America" with I guess 72% of the cast being from South America at large.
I wonder how ORT will fit into all this.
Honestly, there's also a bit of a precedent for Japanese people to know what Brasil is if they were alive or have any recollection of the immigration period of the XIX-XX century. We have the biggest amount of japanese immigrants in the world, or at least very close to the biggest amount, and I'd like to think that counts for something when it comes to the public japanese eye. IIRC there are also some sections of Japan with brasilian immigrants, I think it's people that emmigrated to Brasil and then went back. If this is true, I think it was around Nagoya.

Spoiler:
We know that humans there are a minority species like the humans in Avalon le Fae, so I'm expecting a world where the Aztec alien virus spread and everyone is a god. Both because Meteo would love to introduce Foreigner mobs and because Daybit having a god world from the start sounds like a good punchline for his parallels with Kirschtaria.
My ideal Grand Rider would use a sled pulled by reindeers.
I know Aichi as a whole is filled with Brazilian, and Nagoya is Aichi's capital, so sounds right.
