For once, we agree on something.

I still think the beast sins are fucking stupid and nasu needlessly overcomplicating things
Sure you can do more than 7, but it basically strikes me as nasu trying to subvery my expectations while the sins mostly just being the same damn thing but under a different name
I honestly agree that trying to go for a list of original sins is a bit tacky and sorta chuuni, especially since most of them correspond to a Christian sin, and when they don't, it feels more confusing and convoluted than interesting.
I have noticed several songs in the Tsukire ost sound either familiar or possibly plagiarized. I downloaded a compiled youtube video of the music as mp3 when the game was brand new so I don't know the exact track numbers. That new villainous melody is one I noticed sounds familiar, but I can quite place it.
I am not completely sure though, I haven't done a side-by-side comparison.
I think it goes: "I don't trust people like me." — no, that's not it…

I'm pretty sure I've heard Arach's theme before, for example.
There is one track (on guitar I think) which sounded almost note for note like a song from Clannad or something. Unfortunately, I haven't found it yet to do a side-by-side comparison to confirm my intuition.

Spoiler:
current copyright is cancer
winnie the pooh is public domain in a few days, the OG that is
The track I think is #41, compared to Ana from Clannad (although together they don't sound all that similar). It still sounds oddly familiar, though.
#19 has the melody I said sounded familiar but couldn't identify.

I agree and I disagree. As an artist, if I spend potentially years of my life writing a book and polishing it to perfection, only for Disney or even some nobody to just rip it off and take all of the credit leaving me broke for all of my effort, I would be furious.
But at the same time it is easy to abuse (like every law or system). Oftentimes as a result of the very aspects of it meant to prevent abuse (such as the whole "you lose your trademark if you don't defend it" rule).

Get rid of these incentives, and credit for one's work and supposed originality matter far less.
Copyright is a problem stemming from intelectual property which is a problem because crapitalism strikes again. I really like ranting about this concept but god fucking damn it Gau you've turned it to politics again.

For god's sake don't pull that talk again.

Uhh ill use a shitty opinion now.
Mikiya feels like nasu has a fetish for normality yet doesnt get how normal people would react, im not sure the latter is intentional
One more derail and I'm locking this thread.
