Most Westerner fans don't have hangups on "purity" about girls, unlike Japanese fans.
The dislike for Sakura I find comes from how she often makes everyone else drop whatever they're doing to focus again on Sakura (in her route) and because of the worms inside her grossing people out (like how a worm is constricted around Shirou in the 1st sex scene with Sakura to prevent him from squirting too early or something).
And some people find her to be like Miyu: boring.
Te girls rute focus on her... horror. And not entirely treu, is best rute of Kirei, Illya and imo Rin, and just te later focus her development on Sakura

Honestly, I don't think the ufotable HF trilogy was that great if you look at characters like Illya.
One of the things that is lost, thanks to everyone ignoring DEEN/Stay Night (assuming they never read the Fate route) is seeing Shirou & Illya bond.
In Fate, we get to see what Illya is like once her Greek murder machine is dead and she's on Shirou and co's side. We get to see her enjoy life without having to worry about the war or Shirou rejecting her anymore.
Since that is gone, it then falls to HF to show Shirou & Illya bonding over being family. One of the great, and sad, scenes of HF Is when Shirou & Illya are walking back from grocery shopping and Shirou starts to imagine that what if Kiritsugu were there with them. And then it prompts Shirou to tell Illya that after the War, she can stay with him as family. And then she sadly rejects it because in a sense the offer came too late.
Well, ufotable HF decided to show a fade out scene of Shirou & Illya going to and from grocery shopping with nothing mentioned or shown.
No bonding or anything.
Honestly, for a series that tries to say UBW & HF both have a connection with Zero, ufotable failed hard with Illya.There is a sex scene in HF I remember where Shirou feels Sakura constrict in a manner that prevents him from ejaculating right then. The implication is that it's a worm I recall.
