It's high time it stopped being the bogeyman that gets namedropped here and there to remember people it exists, and FGO is Nasu's cosmic playground, built just for that type of thing.

Honestly, I just see the "no modern servants" rule as a more enduring version of the "only Hassans" rule. It works on the confined story of FSN, but it's needlessly limiting. So it needs to be discarded to the franchise to move forward.

I mean, on one hand it still needs to be kept around to some degree because the closer you get to the present day, the harder it is to deal with still living people or the still living relatives of dead people who might take offense to being turned into thirsty lolis or having their loved ones turned into such. And all the good fictional fellows of recent data are copyrighted and trademarked by someone else.

Because that's also what commonfolks in Vietnam call them. And I am Viet, so I will keep calling all of the mushi (bọ) creatures as sâu bọ, côn trùng aka insects, needless nitpicking to make you look smart won't make you look smart. Arachnids does have a Viet term that is "lớp hình nhện" (spider-class), but no one use that in normal conversation. Either call it a spider (nhện) or a bug/insect (sâu bọ).

And Kirei said 虫. He was sent to deal with the 虫, so I repeated that he went there to deal with the 虫, it's in the text. If your argument is "ORT is not a 虫 so clearly ORT is no longer there" then be my guest. The JP line is to point out that they also consider spiders as 虫, and that was what Kirei did.
