Meh, I try. Most of you guys talk about stuff that goes way above my source of knowledge (like guess a servant). I try to start games because I see people have done stuff in the past and since there aren’t any active ones I figured I’d make my own.

They aren't usually done anymore because the demographic has changed over time. If people were still interested, they'd still be making them, you see.

That being said, even something like Guess-A-Servant can be jumped in on even if you don't have any knowledge, since a lot of it is asking questions rather than proposing answers. And frankly, if you were to join in with the fanfic subforum more broadly - which I use as example mostly because it's the community I'm most familiar with - nobody would fault you for a serious attempt in the monthly contests, Create-a-Magus, and so forth. Even if you're not feeling particularly creative yourself, giving your thoughts on something that someone else has created is also often appreciated.

Basically, the best way to make friends is to engage with people, rather than throwing everything at the wall and waiting for someone to come engage with you.
