That's the problem. What is "science"?

Unpopular opinions:
The Arcueid (and Ciel) route is not good, Tsukihime is carried by the Far Side.
The Kara no Kyoukai: Boukyaku Rokuon movie (Azaka movie) is one of the better ones because Azaka.
Shirou and Kotomine are the best characters in F/SN.
Shinji is a prat, but he receives much more hate than necessary.
Rider's outfit isn't hot, it's offputting. Complete shambles if you ask me.
Ciel in the remake is literally Mash, zero effort. (not so unpopular but who cares I really dislike it)
The fanart made and put in Fate/Hollow is in very many cases bland, ugly and offputting.
can't think of more from the top of my head
"Shirou and Kotomine are the best characters in F/SN" is very popular.
"Tsukihime is carried by the Far Side" I don't know if it is popular, especially now that only Near Side is remade, but I personally think should be.
> "Shirou and Kotomine are the best characters in F/SN" is very popular.
Yeah I guess you're right, because they are. Out of the people I speak to on a daily who also have watched fate think otherwise, which is offputting.
I forgot to mention that Fate/StayDeen is not bad considering their initial task at hand. I have proudly rewatched it.
Yea this isn't that unpopular a take. It just gets a really strong reaction over how wrong it is.
(pssst, I think the comparison is surface-level at most and completely stupid)
I wouldn't say "carried" is the right word, but there is a pretty big consensus that Far Side is significantly better than Near Side in the OG.
As far as the remake goes, most ppl I've talked to about it aren't saying anything cuz we don't have Red Garden yet to compare.

Science is probably not really the best way to put it, but rather a model of the universe with physical laws that would benefit humanity the most, basically the anthropic principle.

Been reading Index lately in prep for the new volume and I actually thought this was Aleister Crowley for a second
Mash? Maybe, i also woud compare Remake ciel to Rin but less fun. I actually find Noel more endearing, and is funny because i guess one of rasons se is so "patetic" is to make ciel look cooler
Lol, i creatd this tread and sure came a long way, it looks like some pinned tread now . Im a bit proud

Ciel wasn't popular. She was the least popular of the heroines in the OG. Remake changed that... for now. We'll see how she stacks up after Red Garden comes out.
The thing with Mashu is: Similar hairstyle & glasses, the senpai/kouhai thing, they are soft-spoken. That's it.
The comparison with Rin has a bit more merit, Ciel does like giving you a good infodump. I guess they also share the "must kill my emotions to do my thing but oh no i can't" thing, but that's where the similarities stop really.
