Why? Not like Arturia birthed Mordred, but Mordred was technically her child. Nothing says there couldn't be another child-homunculus that was used to carry on the family blood. Or that she had a secret child. I mean, if commonly known lore was already wrong on her gender, who knows what else was hidden/unknown.

That was my mistake. I completely forgot the Rose Prophecy was a thing, and mistook it for the Aylesbury prophecy. Sorry, I should fact check stuff instead of trying to correct people from memory. As for Rita doing the Rose Prophecy, no source I can't personally confirm since I haven't read Mahoyo or Case Files, but we always knew one of DAAs did it and Rail Zeppelin employees refers to their boss as the rose, so that's where it connects to Rita.

Blood's profile says he's so into bishounen that he only sucks male blood, and that they hate each other. The profile doesn't mention the reason for their enmity, but pretty much everywhere I can find googling 死徒二十七祖 mentions incompatible orientations (趣味が合わない) so it must be mentioned somewhere. Not Prelude III though, already checked there.

As already mentioned, he's into bishonen and the Kagetsu Tohya patch translated that as "young boys", which is a kinda misleading way to word it tbh. I don't think he is a shotacon.

I won't disagree that there wasn't anything that remarkable about the episode but for someone like me who treasures character interactions more than plot, am just happy to see the characters in motion and know an overarching plot is set for the second half (not to mention being used to episodic series) this is fine for me. Though of course ymmv and all that
