Really? I'm using the exact same kind of imgur links I've used without problems on this forum for years, and for me the pictures are showing up like they should. Not sure what the cause could be if they're not appearing for you...

Went back to Japan on vacation for the first time in years (friggin' covid...) earlier this year (April). I've heard so much from various sources about how many more tourists there are now compared to before, and how it's ruining everything, especially in Kyoto, so I made sure to avoid Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, and explore places I haven't been before in southern Japan (Shikoku and Kyushu) instead. Visited Takamatsu, Matsuyama, Hiroshima (yes, I know Hiroshima is in Honshu), Beppu, Fukuoka, and Nagasaki. It was a lot of fun (although I did both twist my ankle and break my phone. ( ^_^') ). Although I've forgotten a lot, my study time in 2019 definitely came in handy, as knowing some of the language really helps in getting around. Even managed to travel out to several smaller places out on islands and such, where there were zero tourists, and only friendly locals who really wanted to chat with me, which was really great.

Did you notice more foreigners than usual in any of the spots you visited either?
Call me 想φαγω.
Spoiler:
Well, aside from the airports in Tokyo and Osaka (which are always super crowded anyways), I only visited places I haven't been to before, so I don't have any comparisons from previous years/my previous trips. Some places were packed with tourists, some had none (two islands I visited), and some were in between. A couple out of the way places had only Chinese and Korean tourists, and no westerners, africans, middle easterners etc.

Thx a lot for this whole thread. As someone planning live aboard and learn the language at Japan in near future, reading some other BL user's opions was really fun.
I really enjoyed reading your thread, even though the black company part was really sad.
How have your past months been since August?
Nice but uneventful, mostly. Chill and comfortable day-to-days, with nothing particularly special happening. Whenever I'm not at work, I'm just watching anime and playing videogames, for the most part.Work gets boring and annoying sometimes, but is mostly fine, though Christmas time was definitely stressful.
