Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
They are having the first volume completely free there for only this week and the next as pre-release campaign for the FGO event + volume 2. This makes Fate/Requiem the most effective collab event FGO ever did, since it's actually making me read the thing.
Is this relevant? Or was it simply a superficial mention to exemplify Nzambi's role in the original mythology?I had heard of Nzambi, just about. She was the origin of all zombie folklore: the high goddess of the Vili people of the Congo, at once a great empress and the mother of all life.
My Fanfics. Read 'em. Or not.McJon01: We all know that the real reason Archer would lose to Rider is because the events of his own Holy Grail War left him with a particular weakness toward "older sister" types.
I was thinking about it earlier today and I wonder if not only is Voyager the Voyager 1 probe, but if he's also also combined with a Phantom of the Little Prince. I don't buy his resemblance to the Prince being a red herring, not when iirc Erice said the book was important to her, to the point she had a toy of Saint-Exupéry's plane in her apartment. The Prince also got killed by a snake at the end of the story (willingly but still), could explain Voyager's aversion to them.
Also Kuchime is Nzambi's Master.

There are just too many indications for one way or the another.
here is a list of my servant sheets(new and improved format for my servant sheets)
Come explore the White Library, and reach the bottom of this Abyss
Fate / White Memoria
Shortly before the zombie apocalypse starts he texts Karin "Sorry" and then after it's over she says she thought she saw him in the middle of the chaos, so
Isn’t the twin’s master some elderly gentleman who runs a shop or something? I assume Kuchime is going to pull a slick back his hair Aizen/Darius style reveal and try to recruit Karin.
The Borgias' master is an elderly hotel manager, but he's basically their master in name only since they run things for him. No idea who Kuchime's servant is, the Death God crew (Nzambi, the water girl and I presume Anubis doggo) all seem likely to be rogue servants, I can't imagine they'd be so interested in effing shit up and still be attached to living humans, but I could easily be wrong, so who knows.
Personally, I think Kuchime's some sort of secret agent type, like Chitose is Code Crimson, he's some part of the administrative infrastructure and was already working when he texted Karin. Also, anyone else find him and Karin kind of a creepy pairing? She's like some sort of Junior High girl while he's apparently been around long enough that the social group of Otaku has become history. Isn't that just a lil' creepy?
I think pairing them up would be creepy yes but I didn't get the impression the LN was doing that, personally.
Wait, Erice's dislike of Servants is because 'wah, shut up'? I thought t'was resentment over the fact she couldn't have one.
Well, now I just want to smack her around the head and tell her to grow up.
Erice doesn't dislike Servants. It's the complete opposite, actually. Due to her being the only person not living a mundane life with a Servant and her studying History as hobby, she came to idolize Servants and find horribly disrespectful that stuff like the colosseum tournaments exist. She's a lowkey Servant's rights advocate who doesn't really understand how Servants work on a personal level.
Then there's some weird stuff her FGO counterpart says that make the /Requiem event was meant to be released after volume 2.
Spoiler:
That makes sense since volume 2 was supposed to be out by now.
I was thinking about Caren, wondering why she saw chosen to be in this series, and what if Erice's Dread Spirits are somehow connected to Angra Mainyu?
.Voyager: [...] She's possessed by bad things.
Mash: What do you mean by... bad things?
Voyager: I mean bad things. Nameless, goopy, mean poison...
Marie: Something like the Holy Grail's mud, perhaps? Pure human evil, contagious to touch...
Voyager: Yeah... Maybe, something like that.

Oh, I'm very glad I'm not the only one seriously considering Erice as a Monster of Alaya candidate.
