Patterns. So many patterns. All unique, all different.
To search through all of them would have taken more time than Hisa had in her entire lifetime.
Thus, she let her powers take a hold even further, spread her influence, established her reality. Allowed her internal laws to become external laws, and blossomed into the reflective, fractal fragments that marked espers and their influence upon this world. While to the outside world it might have appeared that she had began to shed such petals of light, within her own mental landscape, It was like viewing through thousands of mirrors pointing into different points in time.
Her eyes saw further, further, further than it would ever been possible.
Gazing upon the complexity that was Allene.
There.
Flow.
Movement springing forth from a single source and spreading everywhere all at once. An effect that propagated itself and tied itself into everything and anything of the mind that she was gazing - no, further that. It spread out of the mind itself through those commands, affecting the very chemical balance of the body itself. It was like a web or a network that endless separated, each branch further and further, until there was nothing else left.
To her eyes, it was like viewing through impossible silver stands, like lifeforms living in the ocean, double-helix creatures that formed strings so long there was no end to them.
No end... but definitely a beginning.
The further down she looked, the clearer that propagating thought, impulse, obsession became.
It's point of origin was somewhere deeper, somewhere at the very bottom.
And so she dove.
And dove.
Until...
--- She reached the depths of the ocean.
The place where all the strands converged - or at the very least she imagined it so. And what she visualized before her become a reality, allowing her to gaze upon the origin of all these double-helix strands that spreads so far up above. The origin of what affected every action, every thought that Allene took in her day to day life, coloring them with its own colour. Almost like a virus, almost like a dip of red into pure blue - making it purple.
And what stood at that point?
What lay at the very origin of it?
... A single girl.
Just a child.
Very young, from what Hisa could see.
It may have been a manifestation of the specific synapses that created the effect, but to her eyes, it was a young girl with a blue hair and red eyes.
A young girl... gazing up a broken full-body mirror. At her very own reflection.
So... what could she do now?
Talk to the girl?
Or...
Expand her power more - visualize this memory more clearly to understand the context better?
