As everyone tried to forget about the VHS by focusing on eating the breakfast, the atmosphere surrounding the table became rather glum. Though Caesarina and some others tried their best to keep everything as bright and cheery as possible, there was only so much that could be, especially when everyone was doing their best to not bring up the touchy subject of the VHS. What is once seen can never be forgotten after all.
Yet in time, as if rebelling against the silence, against all of the furtive stares thrown left and right... Prushka broke the unofficial vocal curfew over the table by expressing how she was going to pull Alexstraza's out from the shell she had withdrawn herself in. Well, it wasn't entirely Prushka -- the catalyst to all this could be said to be Subaru; she quietly inquired if she could be of any assistance to the now brooding blonde girl... an act that Vivienne had noticed since she was seated next Zaza after all.
Seeing all of this incited Vivienne to join the discussion as well... though perhaps not to side with the two girls with a small stature, but rather to provide a more objective, neutral point of view. After all, she too had had to deal with Prushka's willful nature. The quiet girl motioned a wave as to gather their attention, and said in her typical blank way:
"It is nice... to help others... but... don't insist too much... if Miss Lockheart wants to... keep a secret... no need to force her in showing it... we all have secrets... don't we?"
Vivienne looked at everyone seated at the table, her empty gaze locking with each of the table's occupant's as she scanned all the occupants... this certainly must've been her way of 'asking' if her statement was true enough for each and everyone of the young people gathered here. A survey to see wherever had the audacity to say that they never kept any secrets.
"But..." she turned to Alexstraza, continuing "... sometimes things are... bigger than us... it is only logical... to look for help... in situation like these..."
Vivienne put her hand on the back of Alexstraza's own, a sign of empathy, camaraderie. The way she did it, the way she said it, the lack of life in her eyes and motion... it did not convey the message very well, but some could say that it is the thought that counts, right? That too, was something left for Alexstraza Lockheart to decide.
"In the end it is... Miss Lockheart's choice..."
