But Marisbury gives up earlier than that, doesn't he?
If we take 1999 as the divergence, then she might actually not exist.
If I remember right, it was on the murder case where Marisbury had someone collect Mystic Eyes for him, he then use them to see into the Fuyuki Grail system, saw how corrupted the Grail was and gave up on it (This was all background info from the Rail Zeppelin case).
However, I can't remember how long ago before Case Files that incident was, if someone remembers then we can calculate more or less the divergence point.
Heartless investigating the Grail War for Marisbury was 7 years before Rail Zeppelin, so 1996.

Weakly, Olga Marie sits down in her chair. “Then, why is…Trisha…”
The girl did not deny it. The knowledge of the Holy Grail War that her father had told her about prevented her from doing so. Otherwise, she wondered how her father had gathered information such as the Great Grail being useless.
But then, “there seems to be a misconception.” Master said gently.
"She was involved on the killer's side, but I never said that Trisha or your father was the killer themselves. Rather, she probably knew who the killer was seven years ago."
“What… do you mean?”
Master speaks as if admonishing Olga Marie, who looks up at him.
"The Animusphere probably commissioned an external collaborator to investigate the ritual. But I don't think they were informed of the means. Your father, the Lord, may have been aware of it, but if he had been informed of the details, I don't think Trisha would have thought of contacting Karabo at this late stage."
Daaaaamn, they really took it that far. Honestly thought that there was possibly another interpretation to it.
Enhance had also better be borderline copyright infringement, because somebody else stole his look.

And she OWNS it, she doesn't feel any sort of remorse for her actions at all and didn't so much become a good guy, but rather she just stopped being an evil bitch because she got bored essentially.
Now, while this isn't technically about the Game itself, I'd like to let everyone know that after nearly a Year of hiatus, the official FGO Shimousa manga has made its comeback. The reason this is relevant here is because Samurai Remnant's illustrator, Wataru Rei, is also the one handling the Manga adaptation, explaining the break from it.
And man, let me just say that this one is a real banger. As someone who always felt that Shimousa was kinda meh, not terrible but not that great either, this is easily the best way to enjoy it. While there are some minor changes to the story, mostly to make Ritsuka genuinely feel like a character, the main attraction here is Wataru's art.
I mean, just look at this spread from the newest chapter:
Spoiler:
The Game has never made Raikou feel anywhere close to this intense.
I honestly can't recommend this adaptation enough, so if anyone is interested, feel free to check out the fan translation on MangaDex. <-Link would be here, but the Forum hates MangaDex.
On the other hand, to those of you who are Extra Based and not poor, there actually is an official translation as well that you can purchase.
I feel like Raikou generally gets to shine more when she appears in manga (Foxtail, Shimousa) or well, anything other than FGO proper, really.

I find that hilarious because the other fights in the Manga are somewhat lengthy but are still pretty small but they wasn't that difficult in the game...
And then you have this battle which is hard in the game... and basically Musashi fighting for her life even with support from a Raikou that is basically Susann'O and Ritsuka trying to keep Shuten at bay with every fiber of her being till Musashi defeats Raikou.
So, the newest chapter of Shinjuku dropped. I've seen a translation of part of it that I don't know if I can trust and I need someone to verify it for reasons that will become obvious very quickly.
Links to the raw text (and some very awkward images to go with it) are below.
Holmes asked Mr. Fujimaru to wear women's clothing, and insisted that he tried on all kinds of clothes in order to grasp the essentials. Allegedly, this is to help him learn how to cross-dress. Mash asks why he's stopped talking. Holmes replies: "In order to make up for his shyness as a lady, the "equipment" inside him was slightly modified. For the sake of his reputation, please stop asking."
Mash: "Master is great..."
Holmes, is he going to a party or a medical examination?!
Yeah, that's inaccurate. Fujimaru's "equipment" wasn't altered to make up for his shyness with crossdressing, it was to add ladylike shyness. They're making him uncomfortable on purpose.
