For the first error could you tell me where the crash happened? If it was around where the H or H alt is located that is an ongoing issue but I want to make sure before I assume.

crash seemed to happened after i chose the 14th day choice and skipped some more scenes, before day 15
might the H, im not very sure

black screen after berserker vs archer/saber fight on UBW route, after they went to the church, day 4 i think?
pressing a for auto read seems to be responding while everything else doesnt, right click etc
exiting does shows the usual are you sure to exit message
changing display makes the screen flicker to white for a sec then back to black screen, so i assume it's a display issue?
i wonder if it's my installation that's faulty... although im quite sure i followed everything correctly

And yes it is the H scene. If you check the previous page you'll catch me droning on about some of the technicals of the issue to NM. To keep it simple, you can't skip the second Fate H scene or the UBW H scene right now due to a bug.

Did you play around with quality settings? If the game enters low quality mode, then goes back to high quality mode, the decensored images won't display in hd mode until you restart the game again.

It's the UBW and HF Vita OPs that I messed up on, the next update will have this issue fixed and they will be viewable.

First of all, many many thanks for the creation of a definitive Fate/stay Night experience. This will be my go to version from now on.
From what I played, everything was working fine for me.

Second, where did you find the HD version of the vita OPs for UBW and HF? I've been searching years for a true 1080p version of those. Please, could you provide a link for your sources?

They are not 1080p, they're considerably-compressed 720p taken directly from the iOS/Android version of Fate/stay night [Realta Nua]. In a future version of "ultimate edtion" (not the next version) we will be switching to 544p versions taken from the Vita version which, while slightly lesser resolution, are much less heavily compressed resulting in an overall higher-quality image.

...and I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you haven't actually gotten to the point of where the OPs would normally play as the current version of "ultimate edition" has those 2 OP videos being completely borked.

So I wanted to release this today but I can't seem to get the installer to run correctly myself. It "downloads" the patches I select, but they don't seem to appear anywhere on my computer and after it's done "downloading" the installer goes to the finish page without even asking to select the routes or asking if I want to replace existing files or anything, and seemingly nothing happens. Even deleting RN off of my computer entirely seems to have no effect.

Your right, I just played a bit of the prologue. It was the trailer in the first post that gave me the impression that the OPs would be in FullHD like Fate.

The OP in the prologue isn't the UFOtable one. That's the PS2 OP. If you reach the end of Day 3 in the game proper then you'll see the UFOtable openings, but unfortunately as of right now UBW and HF won't play and will lock the game because I'm an idiot.

The files you want are actually inside the OP patch itself, I just have them named incorrectly.

Okay so apparently the installer IS working but it is detecting a different installation I did as a test ON MY EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. So uh Annon, I know having multiple installations is pretty much going to be exclusive to me for testing purposes but I do think we should design it so you can choose whether you want to update or do a fresh installation, and if the former, choose the directory with which to apply the update.

Thinking more about it, while I am the only person who will sit with multiple installations for testing reasons, people might put copies on their external for backup purposes so yeah.

I have multiple installations, but I had used a portable installation for my main persisting installation, so even though all of my sandboxed test installs have been non-portable they never saw that any other installation still existed (especially since I nuke said sandbox before running any new installer versions).

For reference, the current installer behavior for portable installs only switches to "update mode" if you point it to the directory of an existing installation, otherwise it does "fresh install" mode.

Not to my knowledge, but I could be missing something.

So I selected to install directory I had originally, and it just installed the game again over it rather than updating it (and the installation didn't go correctly as the game won't open) and if I choose that directory in the installer again afterwards it just skips the entire process without even updating, even if I replace one of the patches with an older iteration from my backups.

Yeah...that's not at all what is happening for me; as soon as I select the same directory as was previously used, the "install" button in the installer changes to an "update" button.

If it finds the installation information in the registry it goes to update mode automatically. I will add a checkbox to make a portable installation in this case.
