    Thanks, it finally ran with this one. One thing I noticed though sometimes there are some short crackling noises when the voices are played, but it's not too bad. Will let you know about performance as I play if I encounter any more issues.

    Also, on the pc version I noticed there is some delay when opening the game's menu.

    Is it possible to add some sort of controller support? I guess it's possible to just bind keyboard action with some tools but I'd rather have some native support.

    DirectInput controllers are compatible.

    If the controller is XInput it won't work directly.

    hi, i just downloaded this game yesterday, and was able to play it. at the start of the second day in-game, i saved and exited out of the program. however, now, when i open the save file in game, itll go for like a thirty seconds, but then shut down. when i tried to reopen it, my computer said the file fate.exe doesnt exist. i looked everywhere in my computer, including the recycle bin, and it really does seem like the fate.exe file disappeared completely. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but the problem occurred again. before i delete my save data and restart completely from the beginning, is there anything you can recommend i try?? thank you.

    I tested the new patch some more. The lag when opening the menu seems to be due to the HD patch being active. Don't know if that's a known bug, though.


    Also, I mentioned some sound problems on Android and I was told it was due to Kirikiri 1.3.9 version. Lower versions reportedly don't have that problem, so I tried the game on Kirikiroid 1.3.4 and the sound was good. Though it feels rather slower on that version.

    I'm playing the game in Japanese and noticed that in UBW's 6th day: Midnight calling scene, the part

    when Caster calls Shirou and that stylized "おいで" shows up on the screen in those lines her voice doesn't play, but when I switch to English it does, however, what shows on the screen is "おいで" in Japanese, even though I switched back to English.


    And something that happens both on pc and android: when trying to open the voices menu with the language set to Japanese, I get this error, though it doesn't crash the game (and the menu still opens if I switch the language to English):

    Check that your anti-virus is not deleting the file.

    The menu open delay, missing voice, and voices menu issues will be fixed in the next release.

    By the way, I found that the issue with the voices menu in Japanese didn't appear upon using a new save file. I was using the one you provided in the previous release. And I don't know if it's related, but with the save data you provided, I found that after saving a game in a new slot I couldn't save or load it if I changed the language to a different one from the one the game was saved in.

    latest beta crash at the type-moon logo(it freezes there, the in game options like relationships still work). kikidroid 1.3.4, using the workaround and without using the xpsfilter.

    Does a dialog box appear when attempting to load save data, or does it look like the following screenshot:


    If it's the former, more options to fix save data will be in the next release.

    First, delete the save file.
    Second, extract this archive: snip so that "settings.tjs" is in the same directory as "patch.xp3".

    There is a workaround to the crop issue.

    I had the same problem, I found out that you needed to deleted the patch_hd.xp3 from the game files.

    but wouldn't doing so cause you to lose the high quality option ? the HQ option is one of the best additions in the Ultimate Edition

    hopefully we get a fix. its possible that the issue is caused by non 16:9 aspect ratios on phones(mine is 18.5:9, note 8).

    a lot of phones(almost all of Samsung's) don't use 16:9

    edit: used the adb shell to change resolution to standard 1080p and 1440p(16:9). deleted the save file.

    hopefully we get a fix. its possible that the issue is caused by non 16:9 aspect ratios on phones(mine is 18.5:9, note 8).

    a lot of phones(almost all of Samsung's) don't use 16:9
    I'm using a S10 and even disabling the fullscreen doesn't change the problem so I'm pretty sure it's just that Kirikiroid2 somehow doesn't utilize the full resolution of the device. I had to disable the HD patch on my laptop when I wanted to play the game windowed since the resolution is just that much smaller than my desktop.

    Does this mean that the 100% save in the OP will no longer have any issues with the beta? Or is this just for saves going forward?

    the game seems to set the resolution or the aspect ratio to the device's standard one. since this issue is only happening on non standard aspect ratios so far.

    It might be kirikiroid fetches the wrong resolution?
    Does the cropping problem only occurs for wide aspect ratio? or also normal ratio with HD patch?

    Can you try to open the debug menu (should be unlocked under the patch menu if you have 100% save file) and type the following commands:
    Code:
    System.screenWidth
    System.screenHeight
    (actually, I'm not sure if the debug console is even a thing in kirkiroid...?)
    This should show you the screen width/height kirkiroid recognizes.
