1. Delete or move "config.ksc" file from same directory as "Fate.exe" if it exists
2. Delete or move "faterealtanua_savedata" from same directory as "Fate.exe" if it exists
3. Delete or move "faterealtanua_savedata" from your documents folder if it exists
4. Open "Fate.exe"
5. Click "Cancel"

You need to start from the beginning on the title screen.

You can skip scenes quickly. You can do this for scenes that you have already seen.

To skip text, hold the Ctrl key.

I'm also getting a white screen and essentially a freeze in the game a little while after that (only thing i can do is exit the game). Any fix for that issue?

There is a logic error in the movie playback code. This has been fixed and will be in the next release.
For now, you can disable movie playback by enabling the Patch->Movies->Skip movies in-game option.
