    I unfortunately caught up lately with some IRL stuff and wouldn't be able to do much in the next month, but I do plan to fix all your reports.

    Regarding the upscales - we did something similar a while back and noticed the same thing - the waifu'd assets were just better in most cases. Manually picking and merging those is backlog task for quite some time (btw using waifu2x in 1.6x is the same as using x2 and then downscaling using lanczos - at least that was the case a few years back).
    I think I'll let NM64 take over from here as he'll have much more input than me on that matter.
    I'm very interested in your work - would you mind sharing it with me?

    (lines are created internally using images - they don't have HD versions that's why they might annoy you)

    Certainly. I placed a copy of both my SideBySide and Export folder in an FTP share. I'll pm you the address.

    - The SideBySide folder has all the images in the different HD versions of interest (2004,2012,2015,custom) next to each other for easy comparison. It's size is 2.24 GiB. The decision by my script which one of the available versions gets preferred on export to the other folder is based on folder name (fgimage, bgimage, patch, etc) and additional tags in the file name like [Choice] or [Custom]... Basically, for bgimage, 2012 has preference over 2015 if no special tags exist, in other folders, the 2015 version gets chosen first. I guess i should switch to always marking the version of choice, though, to make it more obvious.

    - The Export folder only has the versions actually chosen. Diffed against your present files on mega to remove duplicates there remain 1.14 GiB.

    One more thing - would it remove an unnecessary resampling step in the engine during gameplay if the images were exactly hd_size = floor(1.6*ld_size)? Last waifu run was done with sizes based on proper rounding.
    (I was unsure if it would not make sense to use proper rounding for upscaling coordinates & sizes in the engine, anyway - wasn't the Saegusa glitch where she is hovering 1 pixel above the lower border caused by both flooring her y-position and her image-height? Or would proper (in-engine) rounding just cause glitches in different places?)

    [Edit 1] Added a text file next to each image with [CUSTOM] tag in the SideBySide folder explaining what was edited, and how and why.

    [Edit 2] Changed my sync script to set the file change time to the time the file was copied to the Export folder. Should be easier to track changes over FTP that way. (I mostly use crc comparison locally).

    [Edit 3] Started using the chroma upscale merges of SmilingWolf that NM64 linked to instead of the 2015 versions where it gives better results. This will help a lot in areas where high detail and high color intensity meet.

    Is there any guide anywhere on how to get all of the CGs with this version of the game? I have completed the game and didn't get all of them (i am missing 1 ending, the Unlimited Blade Works happy end).

    Also bug report: The original version of the scene where Sakura Kills Shinji isn't played despite having set textual content to classic and mature content filter off.

    Also, do you need to get all of Taiga dojo endings in order to get the epilogue?

    K so after running the 64 bit installer, and all the files being merged and created in the ultimate edition folder, I can't run the game. No error dialogue box is shown and only the windows error sound is heard. I installed the visual c++ as well but nothing changed

    Did you also download all the latest patch files from Quibi's Mega folder? Which OS are you using?

    Nope I hadn't seen that and I'm using the installer for the first time and not updating patches so didn't know about that. Anyways, I'm using windows 8 and is there any instructions on how to go about applying the patches from the mega folder?

    Just download all the xp3 files from the "Patches" subfolder on mega (their name all start with "patch") and put them in the same directory as your fate.exe

    Just make sure you download from the Fate/Stay night Mega folder, not the Fate/Hollow Attaraxia one.

    I'm getting a crash in the Heaven's Feel route. After Shirou project's Berserker's axe, right after he says Trigger Off, I see the next screen about him opening up all his circuits, and then it freezes when I click to move past it. The error message tells me I should post the error files here and not a screenshot, but I don't know how to do that.

    In the savedata folder of the game there should be a text file called "krkr.console.log" of which the last section should give information about the most recent crash.

    It says Ultimate Patch v1.0.0, English Patch v3.4.1. (And I don't know if it's relevant, but it crashed again when I closed the About screen). I've tried it at both Window and Fullscreen, High Quality and Low Quality, Wide and Standard. It always crashes at that point.

    Btw the RNU installer in the mega folder is v1.0.0 while the one posted on the main page is v0.9.1, so which installer should I use and are the patches in the mega folder updated, if there were any updates.

    Please use the installer and patches in Quibi's mega folder. The patches there are always the latest versions available.

    The version on the first page... I'm not sure, but I believe Jacktheinfinite101 hasn't been around for some time, so the first page never got updated or something.

    I'm trying the installer just in case it solves my issue, but I can't get it to work. It's asking me for the paths to the folders of the three routes, but I don't have those.

    Ah, see, that's the problem. You can't use the installer for creating the ultimate version without the original three routes of realta nua from 2012. You can't create the mod without the original game.

    Well, since you already have an intalled version of RNU, don't try to rerun the installer, but just check that all your patch xp3 files are up to date with quibi's mega. If they are, and the crash still happens, then nothing can be done right now but waiting for the next update.
