The flurry of sakura petals picked up.
Before the eyes of Matsumoto Isamu and Tsukiko Aido, Kaguya spun around on her heels and faced them both with eyes of pure determination shining in the dimly lit room.
She slammed her foot down to the floor and bent her knees, adopting almost a hunched-over stance.
Left leg in 90-degree angle to the side, right light straight ahead, while her right hand went to her hip and her left hand was thrust forward, palm up.
A perfect, well-rehearsed and flawlessly executed
jingi-greeting.
A stance practically oozing of chivalry.
The lights felt dimmer and it was as if spotlight was shined upont he two - Kaguya in front and Blaise behind her, arms folded across his chest.
Then.
Suddenly.
A voice - clear as rain and powerful as thunder - resonated form Kaguya.
"Ohikae nasutte, ohikae nasutte!"
It was a voice with enough force behind it to make any slack-jawed delinquent straighten their backs.
"Before you, I announce his hometown, Aoyama, Omotesandou, Tokyo! Baptized in a well of Shiba Kouen, raised in the soil of Minato!"
Spoken by a COMP AI that had cast aside her catty personality to reveal something wholly different behind it.
"He has kept alive the memory of the technique forged by the fires of Red Pendragon, the wife of the progenitor of the Pendragon Clan, Medrod Pendragon!"
Like a town-crier announcing the arrival of a knight... nay, like a second-in-command announcing the arrival of a man amongst men, in style of Japanese chivalry that had almost died out.
"Family name Pendragon, first name Blaise! Still a novice under the teachings of his parents and of the Clan Ryuumonbuchi, he greets you nonetheless!"
The sword-like eyes of Kaguya were trained straight at Isamu and Aido, refusing to back down and almost demanding them to acknowledge this archaic, traditional style of greeting from decades ago that still commanded a surprising amount of presence.
As did the words Kaguya ended it with, in the midst of a flurry of holographic sakura petals that surrounded now both her and her liege.
"'Tis an honor!"
...
Meanwhile, Blaise Pendragon looked like he was trying to hide just how embarrassing he had felt the whole deal was.
