Aster
Saint Vivienne ~ Nightmare

How far back?
Now that's a good question, and not one that I'm one hundred percent on myself when it comes down to it. I'm not like the humans, my curse explicitly bars me from being so, try as I might like to link myself with them as a whole it just doesn't work out... Of course this probably saved me from whatever method they used to hit everyone else through the unconscious, but...
"Well my own perceptions are a bit... Wacky..."
I admit, sounding a bit childish in spite of my best efforts to the contrary.
I mean really, wacky? Who says that nowadays?
"But yes, I guess you could say I'm a lucid dreamer, I've seen all this play out in... A few ways, honestly."
Of course that's not the part she cares about, I can see where this little mental thread of hers is going, and yeah...
Maybe.
It could be like that I guess...
"The actual specifics are beyond me, I don't think the system was activated properly, so how far back everyone got thrown is a bit... Questionable. The limit would be... Sometime in early 2009 I suppose? That's as far back as the digital records of the planet go and the big-shots wanted things to be as close to the original course as possible, with the exceptions of a few key events."
I start back up on my cleaning, moving down the halls and towards the stairs, swatting cobwebs out of my way as I go.
"Like the clock-tower here, at Saint Vivienne. Pretty sure it originally burned down, and that made the mission impossible for some reason."
I shrug.
"Probably because it's some sort of door. Something about it leading somewhere important, somewhere you couldn't get to in any other way... If you knew how to use it right."
My footsteps come to a stop on the second floor, as my musings of Aster's train of thought lead to me considering some things myself, and...
"Burned down while we were here the first time I think, so yeah... Guess it's likely we got zapped back to the school days. It all sort of... Blends together for me sometimes. Downsides of not being a part of humanity I guess, I go through all of this in a bizarre haze all my own!"

Saint Vivienne ~ Nurse's Office
11/16/2026
Monday - Evening
"I'd agree with that decision, less long-term damage that way."
It was those words of Catherine's that had been her farewell to you.
You couldn't really afford to stick around too much longer if you wanted to catch up to the kids who apparently had Aster, of course, exactly what you were going to explain to those kids was a question all their own, one that perhaps has your head buzzing with questions as you dart through familiar fields and stairwells and hallways, all in search of an ever-distant convoy that had apparently been moving pretty fast for a bunch of young adults in training, but...
...In the end, it seems that they had made it to the infirmary in one piece.
The nurse's office is just as you remember it, visibly clean, pristine and with that strong anti-septic smell that always seems to hover over medical clinics. You -or rather Aster- have been laid out cleanly atop one of the cots, the only patient in this room that had always been pleasantly quiet, and overlooking her with intelligent eyes, the only other person in the room, is...
"...Strange. No common drugs in the bloodstream or injuries of any sort, yet absolutely no response to outside stimuli..."
...A nurse you don't recognize from your own school days.
Or at least, what you can only assume is the nurse, given her lab-coat, ID Badge and quiet examination of Aster's (your) eyes, a small flashlight clicking on and off in a gloved hand as she mutters about her condition...
The kids from before are nowhere to be found, but this one...
Gives off the aura of a strict person...
Perhaps she chased them off after their delivery?
"Seems like I'm just destined to have interesting first days on the job..."
