But now I have confirmation... that I was wrong.

Rikka is a woman crossdressing. She is relatively tall and flat for a woman, but it's easy to tell she's a woman from her voice if she talks for too long, so Juliet instructed her to not talk much. I guess that's the novel's way to adapt Fujimaru's general lack of dialogue in the game version.

Sorry I know this is from last year, but with Kogetsukan coming up in NA I started thinking about this again. Does anyone know why Rikka crossdresses? Does she do it a lot, or is it like a one-time thing Juliet asked her to do for this trip since Juliet doesn't like her fiancee?

I don't know the details because I'm not wasting my money on Kogetsukan and the people who did buy it are strongly against spoiling the extra chapter on the internet, but I know Juliet had some kind of plan with this, which ends up not going anywhere, first because of the murder, second because's Rikka's body gets hijacked by Fujimaru.
