Of all the MCs we've had up until now, which one tickles your fancy the most?
Hakuno was okay, but can't help but find myself more drawn to Shirou overall. His intentions, personality, and dilemmas have always been interesting for me to look back to personally.
I'm usually like...not one who likes protags best; FSF is my favorite Fate work so far, so Ayaka/Sigma. As for things I like, I like the mystery around Ayaka. As for Sigma I really like his relationship with Zealot, as well as his introspection about himself.
idk if Flat even counts as a main chara for SF, but he's a main chara in my heart; i like everything about his story

Just realized Waver would be a main protag too thanks to Case Files so maybe I should have said Other...

This forum has never been the kindest to either, but I admit to being a bit mystified as well.
Shirou, I suppose, but I feel like hakuno would have had a better chance had I read CCC. The deal wherein he reportedly decided having had organs cut out meant he should run faster sounds supremely bad ass.
Tbh I’m fine with Kerry not getting any votes and Shirou winning by miles.

Also, the MC of Hollow is Avenger, so I'd consider him my favorite Fate/ protag, but since he's not on the list gotta go with Swordbro.

Well I meant design but both now that you mention it. Ototsugu's art is good.
I think Shirou is the best protag, but my fav is Guda. They can snark and tease all the servants, and does a mile high flying elbow on a Snake God.
