Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Guys I googled it and I think it means he's delicious rice.
Could someone translate this short doujin http://imgur.com/a/HrsDB ?

This is a translation help thread, rather than a translation request thread. This is at least partly because our translators are not inclined to accede to random requests in the first place, unless suitably compensated. It might happen, but you're better off getting into a private talk with someone and seeing what you can do to convince them.

Sorry, I will ask my friend instead.
Thanks Seika.
I didn't specify it in the first post because I didn't want to lay down those sorts of rules. After all, as you said someone might still be inclined to do it anyway. But it is poor form to just mooch free labor off people, yeah.
This isn't a translation question but this upsets me so much I feel I have to post it somewhere.
How'd you get stuck with that?
I'm struggling a bit to find a way to put this into English, and I'm wondering if its because I don't have as good a grasp of the meaning as I think I do. Am I correct in interpreting the bold part to basically mean "to be a mystery means to be a secret of the gods"? I'm thinking its playing on the specific kanji, but I wouldn't mind a second opinion (both in regards to the meaning and how to render it effectively in English).の語源は、ギリシャ語の『閉ざす』だという。閉鎖であり隠匿であり自己完結であり、つまるところは神秘は神秘であること自体に意味があるのだと。ミステリー神秘
My Fanfiction - Almost entirely short stories and oneshots
That's an acceptable interpretation in this case.
Underlined context may help you:
mystery (n.1) early 14c., in a theological sense, "religious truth via divine revelation, hidden spiritual significance, mystical truth," from Anglo-French *misterie, Old French mistere "secret, mystery, hidden meaning" (Modern French mystère), from Latin mysterium "secret rite, secret worship; a secret thing," from Greek mysterion (usually in plural mysteria) "secret rite or doctrine," from mystes "one who has been initiated," from myein "to close, shut" (see mute (adj.)); perhaps referring to the lips (in secrecy) or to the eyes (only initiates were allowed to see the sacred rites).

Sure it's not just "mysteries have meaning bc they're mysteries"?
I'm having a bit of an issue reading a line in the Apocrypha artbook. Specifically the one above Astolfo's head. I don't want a translation to English or anything, I just can't read this handwriting well. Could someone maybe type out this line for me to see if I'm reading it right? Thanks!
This image is a nude character line up, so NSFW link, I guess.

That was actually sarcasm on my part, I just didn't understand what you meant by your first comment :P
Anyway, I hope my eyes aren't playing tricks on me:

It's supposed to be 30cm right? not 90cm?
(inb4 that's what she said)
That's the second numerical typo I find in TM work. The first having said the HGW occurs every 60 years instead of 50 (which makes a lot more sense, because it's said immediately after saying it started 200 years ago and there were 4 of them).
30cm x 3 = ???
And 60 was changed to 50 for RN then changed back to 60 for every other Fate thing so 60 it is.
"Real sword is supposed to have been three shaku long (shaku=about 30cm) but this one is 5 shaku."
Shaku being an archaic Japanese unit of measurement meaningless to Westerners.
And don't make me go look up every post-RN reference to the Fuyuki Grail War cycles. Off the top of my head, the timeline of all the Grail Wars in CM3 went with ~60 years, and the Nasu-written Einzbern Consultation Rooms in the Zero anime.
Yeah, I'll leave it at cm thank you.
RN is actually the latest of those you mentioned, and this line has a voice acting going with it saying 50... Maybe I'll just use a switch.
