Speaking of rerolling, it was amusing watching Tectone reroll because despite him saying he spent hours, if not DAYS doing research, he didn't know wtf he was talking about in the slightest.

Now I may be mistaken as it was a long reroll stream, but I recall him saying:

Global nerfed the banner to only have 5 jobs (not only is that not nerfed, but I believe the original JP banner only had 4 as it didn't have Kaguyahime, though not sure if this one does either).
That he wanted to roll a Paladin job (none).
That he wanted to roll a Gunner job (none).
That "no one" could have realized how bad rerolling would be (sorry, not everyone assumes third year QOL additions to the JP game will be present day 1 in global).

I rerolled a bunch of times just to get Cleric Alice, then I realised Minstrel Greta who I got in my very first roll is actually the rarest job in the pool lol.

And after playing almost all 1st chapters my favorite ends up being Cinderella.

Cinderella was my favorite for a long time in JP, but they started just making her jobs look less like a "chaotic neutral" character and more of a delinquent or bitch.

Nah, look-wise I still prefer Alice but I found her "murder doll" schtick unoriginal, while Cinderella being oppressed and snapping on her bitch stepmother, stepsisters, and the 'foolish optimist' prince and subsequently deciding to force her author to write her a better story is an actual interesting storyline.
Granted going by what I've seen of the story so far we're never going to actually explore that story or what happens after that because the entirety of the story text could fit in the first chapter of a light novel, but at least it's good as an idea.

I'm thinking about dropping it, to be honest. The sum total of everyone's stories currently in the game could probably fit in three A4 pages, tops.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling this game. The amount of EDGE the so called story has is absurd. I also hate the strict timing that the guild/ coliseum feature has.

Yeah, the coliseum is kind of strict. I was only doing that to get Sorcerer Alice. Still, the game just realized, the better arcs are still coming.

The EDGE is not going down, however. This is just how Yoko Taro writes.

I quit lol. The time restriction is annoying and I have more interesting games to play. Will stay if the only time restriction is coloseum but it turn out exp gears is also time restricted.
Will just gonna watch YT for the edge

I don't mind the edge, as long as there's an actual sword (or knife, or axe, or whatever) behind it. So far it's just edge for the sake of it (though overall I wouldn't consider it to be particularly edgy, well within tolerance for me).

Brainlets have small brains. However, people who think that "culturalization" is a good thing for games that have target audiences who literally want that "foreign" experience cannot be called brainlets because they do not have brains at all.
