Anthony Mathers
Country Side – Grassy Plains
Early Morning
It was good to know that she was okay with Miller’s assessment, but he still felt that it could have been handled better.
Anthony was lucky to have caught the faint gesture towards Miller. Or was that normal now? In any case, he at least understood what she was getting at. But she had a point. He might be abrasive, but that didn’t mean he was a particularly bad guy. And if she wanted him around, he wouldn’t argue.Originally Posted by Micah

He couldn’t help but want to hear it more often. He scoffed internally. ‘Love at first sight, huh? Cute. Get it together, man.’
Well how was he supposed to do that?! The other people’s assertions annoyed him, but Micah saying the same just made him sad. And Johnny was in the right for telling him off for snapping at someone, even if she probably deserved it…
He was in a hole, and he wasn’t going to get out by digging harder.
“Fine…” he took a deep breath and purged most of the aggression from his voice, though how much better exasperation was he couldn’t say. “It’s… Sylvia, right? I’m sorry for snapping at you, but can you please start being honest with me? Or at least use my name?”
Oh, come on, he just apologized! Not to mention that he was getting pretty sick of the nicknames… but Johnny had moved on from aggression to trying to talk him down now.Originally Posted by Johnny
“Why would I look different, though?! I didn’t choose to—” he was cut off as Miller continued to demonstrate that he was the voice of reason in this argument even if Anthony couldn't tell for the life of him. But he was definitely right about one thing: All he needed was a mirror. The implications of Johnny suggesting that to prove his own point hadn’t occurred to him yet.
Yeah, yeah, they’d made their point…Originally Posted by Wallace

Incidentally, that was a really cool trick Wallace had there. What kind of power was that?
On the off chance that he looked even remotely different, he’d have to apologize, but there was no way. It was ridiculous.
