At some point in their lives, all who pursue the path of Magecraft face a certain dilemma.
For all their wealth, for all their fame, for all their mystical knowledge, they will one day pass away before accomplishing their goals. It is not a matter of resources or skill, but time. The life of a single magus is simply too short to reach the Root. While there are methods of extending one’s lifespan, even they only delay the inevitable. Thus, it is the way of a magus to pass their wish onto their descendants, so that eventually they will accomplish what their ancestors could not. And now, its your turn to carry on that legacy.
Welcome to Magician Raising Project 2, a Type-Moon-based quest. As the name suggests, this is a quest about raising and training a new magus from scratch with the ultimate goal of reaching the Root. Unlike other more story-driven quests, this one will center around the choices you make and primarily how that affects your growth as a magus and the world around you.
You are the new heir to a magus family. For most of your life, you have lived normally and blissfully unaware of the existence of magic, but that has recently changed with the death of your grandfather, who was secretly a powerful, wealthy magus. Due to certain circumstances, you are the only direct blood relative left to inherit the family’s mysteries.
Suddenly thrust into the world of magic, you must become accustomed to its own unique rules and culture, while pursuing your own sense of magecraft. Whether you wish to dive into the politics of the Association, bury yourself solely into your research, do whatever it takes to further your craft, or stick to your sense of morals, only you can decide what you’ll become. From now on, the choices you make shall determine your fate.
What kind of Magus will you become?
This is your Magician Raising Project.

Your name is Frederica Eru. You are a virtuous and formerly normal 17-year old girl who enjoys airsoft and worships Madokami. You come from a mostly German heritage, but you were born and raised in Japan. After the death of your grandfather, you attended his funeral where you learnt of his secret life as a mage and his will which named you his successor.
Looking back, you were not especially close to your grandfather. You only vaguely remember meeting him a few times as a child, and never kept in close touch. Despite this, you have decided to become a Magus in order to honor his wishes and carry on your family’s legacy.
Now, as the new heir, you must decide on your trajectory and how you will go about taking over the family ‘business’ in the near future. With some advice from a friend of your grandfather, you see two possible paths before you.
The first option is to focus foremost on becoming a proper magus through your studies. As someone ignorant of magic up until now, you are naturally completely clueless when it comes to magecraft. Thus, you could spend most your efforts on studying and practice to catch up on lost time. The faster you catch up, the sooner you can continue the family research as a proper heir to the lineage. One possibility on this path would be to enroll in a formal educational institution such as Clock Tower, but you could also get a private tutor if needed. This path would be the fastest way to becoming a respectable magus like your grandfather.
The second option, however, is to focus more on the non-magical aspects of being the family head. As mentioned, you have no magical prowess at the moment and it could take a long time before you reach a suitable level to even be considered a proper magus. So, it might be better for you to not pursue that path solely and instead work on your other obligations as a magus, such as producing the next heir or building your social connections with other magi. You would be a magus in name only, but you’ll be able to build towards the future of the family in your own way. This option doesn’t mean you won’t learn magecraft, but that you would focus more on your other things and probably wouldn’t have time to study full-time, like in a classroom setting.
Perhaps there are other possibilities you haven’t thought of yet, but those are the two most distinct options.

Clearly, we will soon breed an outstanding magus lineage thanks to our Superior Aryan Pedigree
Also I really like this style of quests, there were a couple dead ones at SV that made me sad because of the wasted potential

True Rider
A wise and beautiful woman who exudes an aura of grace. She is a sly, cunning, manipulative person who always gets what she wants, whether through trickery or ruthlessness. Her own fighting abilities are low, but she should not be trifled with. What does she ride? Men, of course!
London, England. This is where your journey begins.
After becoming the next head of your family, you have decided to abandon becoming a proper magus yourself and have decided to focus on taking over the family and the social responsibilities that title entails. You still plan to learn a little magecraft on the side, but your efforts will be focused on what you can do now to ensure your family’s future. For that purpose, you have left your normal life in Japan to dive into the world of Magi.
It seems that your lineage is of German heritage and your family’s estate is likewise in Germany. However, you have come first to London, the supposed headquarters of Magi. You have been told that if you plan to incorporate yourself into the society of Magi, this was the best place to start. And so, you have arrived here in the Land of Angles to claim what is rightfully yours.
That said, after you arrive and settle down in your temporary accommodations, you are left to contemplate your next move. As a mere new heir, you really don’t know much about magi society and culture, so you really aren’t sure what you should be doing as a new magus. There isn’t anyone to help guide or assist you either, so you’re left solely with your own wits. From just your own contemplations, a few ideas arise though.
You came to this city to properly take-over the family name. In that case, perhaps it would be a good idea to integrate yourself into society properly by building social connections. Your grandfather probably had a number of associates, so perhaps you could start by visiting and introducing yourself to them. That way, people will officially now you as the new head of the family. On the other hand, perhaps it would first be good to do something about your ignorance towards magi. If there were some way you could learn more about Magi society and culture, you could better conduct yourself appropriately in the future.
Oh, and there’s also the deal with your inheritance. Technically, all of your grandfather’s fortune and property has been transferred to you in name, but you have yet to actually go over what you’ve inherited yet as you had not yet decided if you would be a magus. Now, it might be good to visit the lawyer and sort out what you actually own.
Those are a few options, but perhaps you might think of something better. Either way, this is the true start of your new life.
What will be the first action you take as a magus?
1) Go over your inheritance with your grandfather’s lawyer 2) Build social connections by introducing yourself to your granfather’s associates 3) Learn more about Magi society and culture 4) Write-in
