Still turn-based, however now you don't spend your turn planning out all your actions and then executing them all at once. Instead, when you use a move/ability, it executes in "real time", so to speak. The RPS matching stuff has been mostly scrapped, and now you just see what each enemy is going to do on their next turn, so the only RPS leftovers is the obvious fact that if the enemy is going to block, you need to break, or if they attack, you block (though to be fair you can break down most games into that system so).
You have a limited amount of AP to spend each turn (they had 4 in the showcase), and different moves cost different amounts. It seemed like regular attack and break(?) cost 1 point each, while defend cost 3 points, so if you defend against an attack you can only get 1 hit in on the enemy, for example. Then you have skills(?) and Code Casts on top of that. Idk how they are differentiated or if they even are different things but one you can see in the trailer (the one with the green guy) costs 0 AP, and is named (I think that's the name at least) "damage burst", with the effect of "for this turn, attack power is increased by 2". Then the red one next to that for 2 AP is actually one of Nero's skills from the original game, "Fountain of the Blazing Saint", but it's changed here to be a bit more exciting than just "increase attack power by 1" it seems. Here instead it hits 3 times, for 3 damage each, and for each successful hit, your attack power increases by 1. So basically, I would guess that the commands, as they call them, which were originally servant skills cost AP and now have a bit more exciting effects, and the rest that are probably like codecasts are instead the plain buffs or whatever.
At the end of the fight they showcased, they also got to pick between 2 commands to receive. On the bottom left there's also a number of counters, which in order show how many commands you have on hand, in your deck, "used" pile (this goes up as you use commands), and then there's a last one (廃棄) that also means "discard" but that I assume will have more specific discard-like mechanics, such as in Slay the Spire, where "using" and "discarding" cards are different actions. So all in all, I think it's safe to assume that there might actually be some card building elements in here since you keep getting new commands, so you can probably set up your "deck" and then it randomly draws each turn and so on.
