Just watched the UBW portion from the trailer. Is it just me or does Suwabe's engrish pronunciation of the legendary incantation gets progressively worse in every single iteration after Deen 2006's iconic moment (that led to the birth of "GAR)...

From what I can tell, this remake was entire by Niinou's initiative and Nasu's attention was all focused on his dear Last Encore, the one with actual lore-expanding /EXTRA retcons.

From extra mats seems to me he was just really passionate about having better graphics.

As an aside, upon the materialization of The Golden Theater, Red Saber’s sword was initially designed to be enshrouded in a raging inferno of flames like those of Mount Vesuvius.
However, it was too difficult to graphically realize in the game, so it was cut. This is an unfortunate drawback to the use of a portable game system.

The “Say Aahhh” ending CG wasn’t in the plan from the start, but after a developer meeting it was decided that the final event CG would be the Tamamo Nine.
At that point we were short on time and budget but after consulting with Wada Arco we were able to make something out of nothing and helped us realize the “Say Aahhh” ending CG.

…Well, of course this is a written description that didn’t take production costs into consideration in the slightest, so of course it was axed. I guess if you want this level of visuals, you have to do it in an action game.

Like BB says, money isn’t unlimited. In order to get the Servants all dressed up in their swimsuits, there had to be some cuts in other areas of the game.
