Well, if CCC is indeed hidden in Record, it'll be easy to tell by the conspicuous 4th option in the Servant selection menu.

That's what I've been thinking since the day I finished Gil's route. It helps that Nightingale was supposed to be a CCC character and it's easy to see where her unused lines went in the game. And she'd fairly compatible with Hakuno in a sense, considering how they're both insanely self-destructive.
I really hope we get a secret Servant for NG+ (preferably Gil or Karna).
Somehow even funnier than remaking Extra is that actual human beings honestly expected this studio to make fresh and original content.

why shouldnt the game have the base 3 routes+variants of the original, the 4th scrapped Leo route, a 5th hidden Extella`s direct prequel route and CCC as a new game+ only game derailing route. I think like half the endings in CCC have you not go back to main extra
No, all CCC endings immediately continue into the 6th week of /EXTRA, then show their specific epilogues after /EXTRA's ending, since the original game didn't have a proper epilogue.

Main plot aside, this is probably going to feature a lot of original content just by virtue of its setting. OG Extra was tiny considering you had an entire school to explore. Unless by original you meant "entirely new IP", in which case their "larger project" is a better bet for that.
I hope we get some more content on Archery Girl, Dude Who Got Dunked By His Girlfriend, Weirdo Who Calls You Friend, and that insufferable gal wno always acts surprised you survived the round. Warching the nameless, yet "human" NPCs dwindle in number after every round was a great way to communicate to the player the brutal nature of the tournament without having to state it. It was part of Extra's charm.
