Everyone's friendly neighborhood spider is back in this reboot of the movie series. Sam Raimi is gone along with the cast, with Marc Webb heading this showboat. The Peter Parker this time is Andrew Garfield. The backstory is close to that of the comics, Petey has web slingers, Gwen Stacey is the heroine and the Lizard makes his appearance at last; looks great imo. Now, if JK Simmons returns as JJ Jameson, it will be perfect.

And not to be a downer, but this trailer was the worst part of Captain America. I didn't like the way it looked in the slightest. Just my opinion, though, of course.

I wonder if Gwen Stacy is gonna survive this movie or they'll decide to up the darkness and edginess part. And give Spidey MOAR reasons to be emo in the sequel.

This movie just looks like they're trying to Dark Knight-ify it, which is supposedly what they're going with for a Superman reboot >_<

Maybe they'll handwave it as a crossover or something. Bruce makes an institute for children who've lost their parents/caretakers and Peter gets sent there.

And then he gets dark and edgy. Ludicrous!

Spiderman's life sucks. The fact that he can still make quips and the like is either a testament of his strength or a cry for help.

The crucible of his origin is the universe cramming the Idea that with great power comes great responsibility by having a thug he didn't stop when he could for being selfish kill his father figure.

His family does have a checkered past tied into the likes of Shield and the Red Skull.

then there is one his best friend and thier families battle with criminal insanity.

there also a slight air of Can't get away with nothing as well.

lol he was a good goblin in the crazy department but the overall tone was hammy. the reboot is going to be awesome because they've looked to correct the tone mistake with the other three.
