Will definitely buy the game to support TM, and to show them that there is a demand for their games overseas, and a demand for official English translations of their games. I do think it's a bit weird that the Tsukihime remake didn't get the same treatment from the start though...Hopefully it will get a version with an official English option later on.

I do wonder where this incentive for the translation came from. But it's possible they're eyeing the possibility of translating Tsuki and will be using the results of this release to gauge whether or not it's worth it. Mahoyo is much shorter after all, so it could be considered less of a risk.

Tsukihime is a bit more complicated in its presentation. I already covered it in other posts, but summing up, the screen composition needs to be redone to compensate the changes in amount of text for the actions scenes where the visuals synchronized with the text, and they also need a solution for the scenes where the text and the voice lines say different things, with the most obvious option being mandatory dubbing.
The most obvious option is pretending everything is fine and the text matches up.
Just include a notepad explaining certain parts and then pretend it's all good.
