idk if LB or singularity, i just recently asked myself "what if the story of the greek gods actually fighting in the trojan war was applied to other mythologies?"
like is there perhaps some less represented pantheon that could pull off a story where they have some sort of team vs team or even battle royal?

That was one of my ideas, and that involved King Zhou of Shang winning against the Zhou rebels.

To start off, the Shang Dynasty crushed the Zhou rebels at the Battle of Muye, and because Zhou of Shang is a tyrant, let's say that the citizens aren't lucky.

Name: Bright and Dark Flame - Chicago
    Subtitle: Feasting on Future's Past
    Human Foundation Value+

    Location: USA
    Year: 1893 A.D
    Grail Holder: H.H. Holmes
Factions: Chaldea Security Organization, H.H. Holmes

Description of Events: In proper history, the 1893 Columbian Fair in Chicago was a celebration of industry, progress, and the future, celebrating the four hundred year anniversary of Christopher Columbus' discovery of the New World. Entertainment was everywhere. Pavilions representing subjects from anthropology to engineering could be visited. All together it was a celebration of human progress and potential. In this singularity, however, the Serial Killer H.H. Holmes gained a Holy Grail during his visit to the fair and used it to turn the event into a charnel house, beginning with Thomas Edison during his own visit. Ignoring the potential negative results of having so many people killed, at this time Chicago was one of the most important cities in the burgeoning US and the presence of that madman has choked it; further, many of the most important people of the time were visiting when Holmes began. He must be stopped.

Themes: Conservatism, Progress, Renaissances, "Old Good New Bad" (But is it really though?)

    Servants of Chaldea:
    -Charlemagne (Carolingian Renaissance)
    -Thomas Edison
    -al-Ma'Mun
    -Sakamoto Ryouma (Lancer)

    Holmes:

    -Genghis Khan
    -Akhenaten
    -Hijikata Toshizo
    -Giorgio Vasari
    -Cato the Elder

There's bits and pieces of the Mahabharata where it's implied Indra and the boys are taking sides/supporting their kids. Doesn't extend to the big three (well, Vishnu's there running the show but that's the extent of his involvement) but the rest are definitely active in the conflict.

There's a Japanese religious theory that the Genpei War was a mortal expression of a divine turf war between Amaterasu (Fujiwara/Imperial Court), Hachiman (Minamoto) and Benzaiten (Taira) for control of Japan, since nobody can usurp Amaterasu as ruler of Heaven, but that doesn't extend below Takamagahara.

The Táin is a thing and definitely has various Túatha Dé taking sides.

An idea that came to my mind was actually a Celtic Singularity where upon Cu’s death, a Grail appears and it’s used to resurrect the Hound as an actual Berserker whom proceeds to wreck havoc across Ireland alongside several summoned Servants so Chaldea has to work with the remnants of the Knights of Fianna, the remaining Servants from the Counter Force, and Scathach to stop the rampaging Cu Alter.

This idea was mainly born from taking away the Celts from America and giving them their own Singularity instead, with potential for Indian Summons as well. However my main issue now is who ends up as the Grail Vessel responsible for all this mess between Cu Alter and Medb, as the former would have the Queen as a (reluctant) ally of Chaldea due to Cu Alter gunning for her in revenge, while the latter would be more akin to Canon only that Cu Alter here isn’t just a copy straight out of fanfiction like Jalter, but rather the real Cu revived and corrupted as a result of the Grail’s power.

What y’all think so far? Accepting suggestions or ideas for this if possible…

    GOOD LUCK!

A.D. 2200 Divine Oracle Metropolis, Aletheia
    Charade that Silenced the Stars

    Elysium Society

    Masters

Lou Rgisgaia: Lou Rgisgaia is the President of the Elysium Society and the Master of Sherlock HolmesTrismegistus Voltair. He is a member of the Wandering Sea's Gate of Ellen which focuses on researching the parallels between the magic of the Age of Gods and modern science. On the surface, he holds a relatively unassuming teaching position within the academy's Meteorology Department, but in truth; he was the mastermind who founded the institution from the aftermath of the Second Great Occult War. Lou is the weilder of the incredibly rare Mystic Eyes of Clairvoyance, which allow him to see glimpses of alternate futures. Lou is someone who has no time for the Present era, and was among the most dedicated researchers in the Gate of Advancement until his mysterious disappearance.

    Servants

Trismegistus Voltaire | Pretender: The Servant formerly known as Sherlock Holmes. His true name is that of the famous Enlightenment era philosopher, while the Great Detective served as a disguise that suited his purpose throughout the Human Order Incineration and Human Order Revision incidents. The events of the Second Great Occult War changed his secondary Saint Graph from the fictional detective Holmes into the renowned magician Hermes Trismegistus through the process of True Name Mutation to symbolize the drastic change in his "Prime Directive" from being one who uncovers the truth to one who mystifies it. While he feels some lingering fondness for Chaldea, he continues to oppose them out of respect for both Lou’s goals and Chaldea’s fight up until that point.

    The Planispheric Council

    Servants

Galileo Galilei | Archer: A Pseudo-Servant Summoned by the Counter Force to protect the Horizon Gate using the corpse of a deceased professor. He is the famous Italian polymath considered the Father of Observational Astronomy and inventor of the Refracting Telescope. Because the Horizon Gate does not have sufficient Magical Energy to allocate towards maintaining Servants, Galileo is summoned under such unusual circumstances. He relies on the Spiritron Calculator and the Oracle Towers to enhance his abilities to a more acceptable level and access his Noble Phantasm.

Isaac Newton | Caster: A Pseudo-Servant Summoned by the Counter Force to protect the Horizon Gate using the body of a prominent professor. He is the English natural scientist and alchemist who was famous for discovering the laws of motion and universal gravitation. Due to his ties to the occult and reputation as the last magician in an age of scientists, Newton is a high-ranking researcher involved with the Academy’s true research: Replication of Mystery and the Sixth Law. His role is that of one that has solved the mystery of one of the great natural forces, Gravity. Newton simultaneously reached the peak understanding and mastery of his magecraft while also degraded its mystery for future generations.

Pliny the Elder | Caster: A Pseudo-Servant Summoned by the Counter Force to protect the Horizon Gate using the body of a prominent Student of the Academy. Gaius Plinius Secundus was an ancient Roman naturalist and the author of the acclaimed Natural History encyclopedia. Although his work contains many inaccuracies today, it was considered a major authority in the natural sciences up until the Middle Ages. He is famous for his methodical analyses and perceptiveness. His skills and Noble Phantasm is important in the process of creating the Great Spells.

Sir Francis Bacon | Ruler: A Pseudo-Servant Summoned by the Counter Force to destabilize the Horizon Gate. However, he ended up entranced by the deeper intricacies of the Academy and joined the governing body. Due to the low levels of Magical Energy in this era, he is sharing a body with a prominent professor. He is the English philosopher and statesman who is best known for having discovered the scientific method. His skills and Noble Phantasm are important in the academy’s research and the creation of the Great Spells. He works with Pliny the Elder.

    Chaldea Security Organization

    Masters

    Ritsuka Fujimaru
Master Candidate #48 of the Chaldea Security Organization. He has an almost unbelievable track record of solving incidents including the Human Order Incineration and the Human Order Revision. He was an average teenager from Japan who was recruited into Chaldea by hazard after his a blood donation revealed 100% Rayshift and Heroic Spirit compatibility. He is eager to take on the task of infiltrating the oracle academy, secretly hoping he can experience a futuristic school life in the process.

    Kadoc Zemlupus
Formerly one of Chaldea's top ranked Master Candidares, Team A. He is a commoner Mage from the Clock Tower with something of an inferiority complex, though he has been improving his condition recently. Eager to prove his worth in Chaldea, he takes on the mission of investigating the serial murders and the Catacombs within the oracle academy.
    Servants

    Mash Kyrielight
The Sheilder Class Demi-Servant of Ritsuka Fujimaru, the Heroic Spirit she got her powers from was Sir Galahad of the Round Table. Finding herself in a world dwindling on Magical Energy, she is curious about the academy's vast technological advances and the history of the Second Great Occult War which led to its founding. Spending time with Ritsuka in a futuristic school setting, even if just for their investigation, is proving to be a relaxing and fun experience for her. She hopes to savor these memories a lot.
    Giacomo G. Casanova
The Assassin Class Servant of Kadoc Zemlupus; Casanova is one of 18th Century Europe's most prominent Noblemen. His many outlandish tales of adventure and romance have made him a household name associated with charisma and sophistication. Aside from providing security for his master in the catacombs, he enthusiastically helps Ritsuka and Mash investigate the history of the Horizon Gate and the conspiracies beneath its surface. He is having fun recording Ritsuka's infiltration of the academy.

    Schrodinger's Cat (Olga-Marie Animusphere) | Moon Cancer
A Pseudo-Servant sharing the body of Chaldea's late Director, Olga. Her identity is that of the infamous thought experiment, Schrodinger's Cat. Her data infiltration abilities are put to the test in this Horizon Gate where everyone's daily activities are seemingly recorded as information for the Oracle Towers. One of her Noble Phantasms is the key to destabilizing the Horizon Gates and undoing the influence of the OOPArts.

    Xiang Yu | Berzerker
A Berzerker Servant summoned by Kadoc from the Spirit Origin Brief Case to serve as combat support to Casanova and for the analytical power of his cyborg mind. He is a famous warlord who brought down the Qin Dynasty. Kadoc hopes that Xiang Yu's abilities might help process the date in the Oracle Towers without seeming too suspicious.

    Paracelsus von Hoenheim | Caster
A Caster Servant summoned by Ritsuka Fujimaru from the Spirit Origin Brief Case to help his investigation of the Horizon Gate. He is the famous Alchemist who helped develop the foundations of Alchemy in the 16th Century. He was summoned to the Horizon Gate for his expertise and for theAlchemy's close relation to Chemistry, which lends it an advantage in the strange circumstances of the Horizon Gate .

    A Trio of Charlatans

    Servants

Alessandro Cagliostro | Caster: Cagliostro is a Servant summoned by the Counter Force to destabilize the Horizon Gate, in its desperation as the Horizon Gate nears completion. He is the famous Italian Alchemist who founded the rites of Egyptian Freemasonry. He is a prodigious mage considered by some to be a genius and by others to be a charlatan. His name is associated with the forger and thief, Giuseppe Balsamo. Cagliostro founds the Esoteric Order of the Black Zodiac among the disillusioned, the paranoiac, and the heretical of the Academy.

Laignech Faelad | Rider: A Pseudo-Servant summoned by the Counter Force to destabilize the Horizon Gate. He is sharing the body of a convict who claims descendance from the Benandanti witch hunters of Medieval Italy. Laighnech is the ancestor of the Werewolves of Ossory; a man cursed to turn into a wolf during certain times of the year. He considers himself a “Witchhunter” and plays the role of the serial killer behind the mass murders of the Academy’s leading researchers. Rider is also the leader of a group of assistant witch hunters who have taken the name of the ancient Italian order, which presents itself as an opposing force to the Black Zodiac and the academy's practice of Magecraft.

Michelle Nostradamus | Foreigner: A Pseudo-Servant summoned by the Counter Force to destabilize the Horizon Gate by breaking the Academy's carefully laid balance of Reason and Mysticism to an extreme of Superstition and Fantasy. Simply put, Nostradamus was summoned to drive the self-proclaimed sages of the Academy to madness. He is the true mastermind behind the escalating crimes and terrorism within the academy. Upon being summoned, he was subjected Foreigner of the End's Noble Phantasm where his Saint Graph was connected to an entity that lurks the darkness between the stars. Through this, he witnessed the scattered possibilities that make up the Horizon Gates, and the end of the age of man, called “Overcount”. Nostradamus is responsible for the corruption of the Oracle Towers network.

    Other Servants

    Masters

John Titor: A Time Traveler who claims to hail from the year 2377. He has been travelling across the Horizon Gates, obsessively chasing after a certain target alongside his partner, the Count of Saint Germaine. Titor seems oddly familiar with the Chaldea Security Organization, although there are odd discrepancies between the Chaldea that Titor knows and the Chaldea of the present era.

    Servants

Pythia | Caster: A Pseudo-Servant originally summoned by the Counter Force to protect the Horizon Gate; she shares a body with a reclusive prodigy from the Student Council. Caster is the high priestess of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. She is said to be able to channel the voice of the god of Prophecy through the smoke within her temple cavern. It is said that she shares a similar ability to a certain professor from the Meteorology Department. She managed to predict the arrival of the Chaldeans and informed Descartes of their mission.

Edmond Halley | Rider: A rogue Servant summoned into the Horizon Gate via unknown means. Rider is an English astronomer who was famous for having calculated the orbit of the most famous comet which would later be named for him. Although his prediction of the aforementioned comet was his biggest claim to fame, Edmond Halley has influenced a number of esteemed scientists namely Isaac Newton and Francis Bacon. So who is this eccentric young woman in a conductor's uniform!? In truth, Rider is a something closer to a Daemon rather than a Heroic Spirit. She is the result of the Oracle Academy's top secret experiments involving the Sixth Imaginary Law; an embodiment of the collective wishes of humans, mostly consisting of superstitious students beginning their studies into Astrology. Her "True Name" is not the astronomer who discovered Halley's Comet, but the comet itself. She claims to be Edmond Halley upon being summoned but her claims start to fall apart upon further scrutiny.

René Descartes | Ruler: A Pseudo-Servant Summoned by the Counter Force to destabilize the Horizon Gate by diluting the Mystery of Astronomy and enforcing the scientific rationality of the modern world. He is the French philosopher who introduced the concept of Rationalism and is thought to be the "Father of Modern Philosophy". Ruler shares a body with an enthusiastic freelance journalist who studies at the Academy. An ardent critic of the Academy's obscurantism, her compatibility with Ruler is nigh perfect. They share a 60/40 control of the body, with Ruler pitching in under dire circumstances. According to the host body, Ruler is like her "Guardian Angel". Meanwhile, Ruler claims that watching over his host is like the raising the Daughter he lost to disease.

Count of Saint-Germaine | Alter Ego: A Servant contracted to John Titor. He is a fragment of the immortal, wandering mage who has involved himself in European history and politics for centuries. There are many theories about the true nature of his existence: A vampire, a master alchemist, the wandering Jew, etc. This specific iteration of Saint Germaine claims to be a Time Traveler from an unknown time period. He is loud eccentric who has a pention for lying and telling tall tales.

    Key Noble Phantasms:

    Universal Principle of Mythology
    「Prisca Theologia」

The Noble Phantasm of Trismegistus Voltaire. In Hermeticism, this term refers to the unifying principle which stand as the foundation of all major religions. The crystallization of this concept is a Noble Phantasm that seemingly allows Pretender a great degree of control over Magical Energy around him. A chain reaction of large scale spells at the end of the Second Great Occult War allowed Pretender to use this Noble Phantasm to drain all Magical Energy from the world and Storing it in the Leylines beneath Delphi.

    Behold a Shooting Star
    「Ista Mirantu Stellum」

The Noble Phantasm of Edmond HalleyHalley's Comet. It's a "shooting star" type projectile that channels the collective wishes of people into a minor wish granting device. Wishes can enact a variety of effects in order to fulfill their purpose, although it cannot be used to directly manipulate living beings. Instead, it causes weather phenomena, powerful explosions, or technological malfunctions that work in the favor of the wish maker.

    Requiem of the Spheres
    「Propheties Universalis」

A Noble Phantasm of Nostradamus. It is a forbidden ritual which summons the avatar of a certain Outer GodGhroth to this plane of existence. This is a ritual that reenacts the "Music of the Spheres" as a prophecy that "ensures" the Outer God's manifestation. Nostradamus uses this ability in tandem with the hijacked Oracle Towers to drop the Outer God, acting in the role of the "Great King of Terror" onto the Earth.

In a case concerning magecraft, discerning the personal Mysteries of a given culprit is nearly impossible until the case is solved. As a result, closing an investigation hinges on two factors: "why" and "whodunnit". The "how" is oftentimes irrelevant.

...Of course therein lies the weak point of this particular scenario. From the very beginning, the clues could only be revealed by investigating the discrepancies in the "how". So, taking the role of "advisor" and "investigator" was imperative to the safety of the mission.

...Overlooking your journey has been a blessing, truly. I would have loved to stay, but your change in objectives complicates things moving forwards.

...I suppose I must discard this façade if ever we are to face each other in the future. It's only fair. To allow sentimentality to cloud my judgement here would be disrespectful to both our endeavors. So allow me to reintroduce myself: Servant Pretender, I am Hermes TrismegistusVoltaire, at your service.

    Class Skills
    Territory Creation: -
A skill denoting the ability to create an advantageous terrain for its user. Normally a mage of such renown would have B Rank at least, but it seems this skill exists as an empty shell for useful only for camouflage. Instead, CasterPretender weilds an evolution of this skill unique to himself.
    Item Construction: -
A skill denoting the ability to create magical artifacts. CasterPretender weilds an evolution of this skill unique to himself, so this skill was sealed away and retains no Rank.
    Divinity: A-
A skill denoting one's aptitude as a Divine Spirit. This represents the combined divinity of Thoth, Mercurius, and Hermes; the three deities closely associated with the enigmatic magician through syncretism. █ █ █ █Pretender gained this skill after taking on the role of Hermes Trismegistus through True Name Mutation.

    ---DATA EXPUNGED---
    Camouflage: B
A skill of the Pretender Class denoting the ability to disguise one's nature. It is a disguise so thorough that it can deceive even the world. This allows Voltair to hide his class under a false one. Specifically, he is capable of disguising himself as a Ruler or a Caster.

    Personal Skills
    As Above, So Below: A++
An evolution of the Territory Creation skill unique to CasterPretender. This skill is a sublimation of one of the core principles of Hermeticism. That is: The state of the spiritual mirrors the state of the material. The skill would normally be at EX Rank, and yet... the world is not as it should be. Instead of a skill that strengthens Mystery around the user and reverses its degradation, this skill seems to enhance the rate of scientific progress while preserving what little mystery remains. It is a skill mutated by Voltair's view on the state of the world: chaotic and unfair. Reason dictates that that many errors have been made, and the ideal world must still be far in reach. There is still much work to be done.

    ---DATA EXPUNGED---
    Logos Preservation (Reason): EX
A sublimation of Voltair's philosophy of individual reason. One's decisions should be made according to their own sense of reason, rather than blindly adhering to dogma and authority. It is a skill that enforces heightened critical thinking on the user, protecting them from all mental debuffs. In addition, it strengthens resistance to Command Seals that force Voltair to act against his own nature.

    Seven Rays Charisma: -
A skill that sublimates the Seven Hermetic Principles as outlined in the Kybalion: Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Rythm, Cause& Effect, and Gender. As the supposed originator of these teachings, CasterPretender's mere presence makes people more aware of these principles, opening them up to the world through a Hermetic persepective. Its effect can be likened to a detective guiding the audience through their train of logic at the end of a crime scene... if the audience was unable to close the book and stop reading until they got the message. CasterPretender has sealed away a majority of this skill's power out of personal distaste.
    Three Part Wisdom: C
This skill is a sublimation of the three mystical arts taught by Hermeticism: Alchemy, the study of the connection between the spiritual and the material; Astrology, the study of the mystical influence of the heavenly bodies on the world; and Theurgy, the Magic of the Gods and Divine Spirits. The first two arts are said to be the key to connecting with a higher consciousness and achieving divinity. It is this knowledge that is shared with those who are given Hermes' Noble Phantasm.

    Background Information

Lore: Hermes Trismegistus is the legendary alchemist who founded the Hermetic school of magic and philosophy. He is believed by some to be a wise sage with vast magical knowledge, while others believe him to the be the titular Greek god. Some even believe Hermes Trismegistus to be an ancient Atlantean king. The most prominent theory is that he is a syncretic god, a composite deity born of Hermes and Thoth in Ptolemaic Egypt when syncretism of local gods was popular. Hermeticists believe in a single unifying truth that ties all ancient religions, the Prisca Theologia, and the ascension to divinity through the heavenly bodies. Muddled rumors on their true nature aside, there's not quite right with this Hermes... Pretender's True Name is Francois-Marie Arouet, otherwise known as Voltair, the famous French philosopher of the Enlightenment Era. Known for his satirical works, promotion of civil liberty and skepticism, and harsh criticism of those political institutions; Voltair was one of the leading intellectuals during the Age of Enlightenment so much that he is often synonymous with it. Voltair was born a commoner in 17th Century France to Francois Arouet, a public official. After losing his mother, he spent much of his time with his Godfather, the abbé de Chateauneuf who introduced him to high society. His philosophical ideas were likely formed from his time studying at a Jesuit college in Paris, where he grew increasingly skeptical of the teachings of the church Fathers while gaining a love for theater and literature. He would spend much of his adult life travelling around Europe, banned from city to city for his controversial writings. Upon first being summoned by Lou sometime during the Human Order Incineration, he took on the True Name of the detective Sherlock Holmes; however, when the Horizon Gate's nature was changed by a series of domino effects, True Name Mutation replaced the identity of Holmes with Hermes Trismegistus to better fit the Oracle Academy.

Personality: CasterPretender is described as a charmingly smug and observant fellow. He is the type to have figured things out already but take enjoyment in handing out cryptic one-liners, encouraging others to figure things out themselves. He has a tendency to lack self-awareness during lighthearted moments, bordering on hypocrisy, but sobers quickly when things get serious. Whereas the old version of him resembled the protagonist of a detective novel itching to explain the crime scene, this version is more like an elderly professor eagerly waiting to grade and correct a student's thesis. It is almost like he is eagerly saying, "Come on then, show me what you've got!"

    Noble Phantasm

    Prisca Theologia
    Universal Principle of Mythology

    Rank: A++
    Classification: Anti-Foundation
    Range: ???
    Max. Targets: N/A
This is CasterPretender's most powerful Noble Phantasm, a sublimation of one of Hermeticism's most important beliefs. The concept of Prisca Theologia is the belief in a unifying truth from which all religions are derive. A "universal key" for all of creation. This ability allows CasterPretender to seemingly draw magical energy from nothing to fuel his spells. However, more precisely, it uses that single unifying principle to tap into the conceptual existence of an object and draw on the power of creation itself. This allows the user to draw on more magical energy than is possible from their surroundings, as if they were creating energy from nothing. The most dangerous application of this ability is breaking down and absorption of magecraft spells. It does, thankfully, draw its limit when it comes to the power of Heroic Spirits which it takes considerable effort and concentration to breakdown.

    Tabula Smaragdina
    Emerald Tablet of Hermes

    Rank: A
    Classification: Anti-Unit
    Range: ???
    Max. Targets: N/A
The legendary tablet in which Hermes Trismegistus is said to have engraved the secrets of the universe. It is believed to be the founding text of Alchemy itself as an art. As a Noble Phantasm, this tablet is meant to be handed down conferring some of CasterPretender's knowledge and power onto the wielder. Invoking its True Name allows the wielder access to a form of "divinity" by making them one with the universe. This is not an ability that can be used on the fly, and requires a complex ritual of "ascending the heavenly bodies" that can take days of preparation. However, even the information within this text on its own can advance an alchemist's research by leaps and bounds. The Wandering Sea's Gate of Advancement studies the Emerald Tablet as its Divine Law.

    Twilight of Magecraft
The year is A.D. 2195 and the Earth’s magical energy has all but dwindled. The largest source of mystery and magical energy in the world is the collection of university towns and academic facilities which lies on the Balkan coast as its own independent nation: The G•E•N•E•S•I•S Academy Alliance. Preserving its mystery through elaborate propaganda and cover ups, the academy presents itself as an institute specializing in the research of probability, information technology, and most importantly, prediction of natural phenomena. While on the surface the alliance functions like any regular research institute, its inner workings are steeped in an aesthetic of mysticism and esoterica. Their motto is “Within truth, the Mystery. Within Mystery the truth” as subtle nod to their true goal. So far, the governing body's plan involves predicting, recording, and analyzing rare natural phenomena hoping to reverse engineer the process of Mystery Accumulation and the Sixth Imaginary Law.

    Sages who seek the Future
As a "nation" dedicated to perfecting the art of divination and predicting the future, the inhabitants of the G•E•N•E•S•I•S Academy strive to apply precision to nearly every aspect of their lives. As such, devices called Oracle Towers exist all over the city in various shapes and sizes. They record different kinds of data such as weather patterns, goods bought, routes traveled, most trending subject, and other details pertaining to the behavior of society as a whole. Most inhabitants of the academy use the data collected by these towers in conjunction with portable Observation Spheres to make predictions in their everyday. Curiously, those who are observant will notice that areas with large clusters of Oracle Towers tend to experience harsher weather conditions. There are some who believe these towers contain a mystical component; the details of which are a closely guarded secret of the Divination Faculty and the governing body. At the very top of the academy's Grand Celestial Observatory, there is a powerful Mystic Code said to be able to draw information from the collective experiences of the populace to predict changes in the future and usher prophecies,
    Calculator of the Unconscious World
    Corpus Micromegas
also known as the Spiritron Calculator. The collaboration of magecraft and science within the academy is a contentious point among its inhabitants, meanwhile, the increasing paranoia regarding humanity's future and the academy's expansion has earned it m

Lou’s stated goal in creating his Horizon Gate was a world where humanity could understand the infinite possibilities it had and strive for it above all else. In reality, he seeks to understand the inner mechanics of how Mystery affected Magecraft. It is unknown what Lou’s Horizon Gate was originally like, but the dismantling of Xanadu, Indus, and Shambhalla seems to have greatly affected it. The phenomenon of mysteriously vanishing advanced civilizations was not overlooked by the scientific institutions of the Horizon Gate which have made great advancements in information technology. The search for “lost” knowledge and ruins created ripples in the artificial Quantum Time-Lock, causing a second Great Occult War to break out during the time of the Academy’s founding. Lou Rgisgaia, in an effort to salvage his Horizon Gate, involves himself in the war, orchestrating the events in the shadows. During the final battle at Delphi, Lou uses the sacred grounds of Apollo’s temple along with Pretender’s Noble Phantasm to drain all the magical energy used by both sides, causing a chain reaction that drained all magical energy from the surface of the planet. With all remaining magical energy sealed within the land's Leylines, Lou indirectly brings an end to the Second Great Occult War and constructs the Oracle Academy in the surrounding area.

    Last Bastion of Mystics
    G•E•N•E•S•I•S Academy Alliance

The last remaining places of Mystery on Earth in the aftermath of the Second Great Occult War. All the magical energy left in the world flows through its heavily defended ley lines. It is a tightly knit alliance of schools and research institutes located on the tip of the Balkan Peninsula with its central office located at Delphi. The academy's stated goal is to research the science of prediction and promote the ancient mystic tradition of divination. The Academy is split into multiple faculties named for each of the 7 Luminaries (classical planets), with each centered around a residential district.

    1st Residential District - Sol
One of the academy's residential districts. Sol is the department of Astronomy, colloquially known as the Faculty of Stars, which is the research center for all things Outer Space, both scientific and mystical. It is located in the "capital" of the academy, which houses the Temple of Apollo and the central administration building. The Planispheric Council, the academy's highest governing body, convenes here. At the top of the academy's largest school buildings sits the Grand Celestial Observatory, which is where the academy's most treasured clairvoyance machine is located alongside the OOPArt.

    Catacombs
The aftermath of the Second Great Occult War left many dead in its wake. To pay respect to the brave warriors who fell in what is seen as the "Final War", the Academy built a series of catacombs beneath its residential districts. They were built partly as an homage to ancient religious burial grounds, and the precision with which they were built seems to have some mystical significance. Many urban legends and ghost stories about the war are centered around the catacombs.

    2nd Residential District - Luna
One of the academy's residential districts. Luna is the department of Anthropology, colloquially known as the Faculty of Observation. Its function is dedicated to analyzing the past of human history and deciding the course of its future. A rare seemingly unpredictable murder case has caused a majority of its inhabitants to evacuate. The supposedly haunted dorm room on a nearby hill becomes the hideout of the Order of Black Zodiac.

    3rd Residential District - Mercurius
One of the academy's residential districts. Mercurius is the department of Trade and Economics, also colloquially known as the Faculty of Treasure. Its function is dedicated to studying the exchange of goods and money throughout the world in order to predict the state of the economy. It collects a vast array of market research data donated by various corporations. The third district consists of a port city on the coast of Greece, and is a famous tourist destination. It is unique for its many resorts and recreational facilities.

    4th Residential District - Venus
One of the academy's residential districts. Venus is the Faculty of Information. It is a broad field of study that ranges from Neurobiology to Information Technology. The fourth district is located at the base of Mount Olympus. The Data Center at the top of the legendary mountain houses the data collected by the Oracle Towers spread throughout the land. On the outskirts of the Fourth District lies the Psyche Brain Lab where the academy conducts their most secretive experiments and Lou houses his workshop.

    5th Residential District - Mars
One of the academy's residential districts. Mars is the department of Defense, colloquially known as the Faculty of War, which is the academy's only non-academic department. This faculty focuses on the enforcement of the law and the military defenses of the city state. In addition, it also houses the weapons production factory, which is held under maximum security. It is rumored that remains of the Atlas Institute's Seven Superweapons and some of the Supreme Mystic Codes belonging to the ruling families of the Clock Tower are contained here. This is all just hearsay however.

    6th Residential District - Jupiter
One of the academy's residential districts. Jupiter is the department of Meteorology, colloquially known as the Faculty of Winds which monitors various environmental factors in order to predict and control weather. In addition, the Jupiter Faculty collects data on rare natural phenomenon. Jupiter is the most prominent and densley populated of the seven residential districts.

    7th Residential District - Saturn
One of the academy's residential districts. Saturn is the department of Esoteric Studies, colloquially known as the Faculty of Secrets, which focuses on the preservation of whatever scraps of magecraft that the academy could salvage after the war. This district is also home to the General Education faculty, which focuses on mundane studies; as well as the student council's office.

    Seven Rays: Rainbow Sword
While searching for the Fourth Horizon Gate, Chaldea receives a transmission from Bridge Gracefield, pointing them to a massive temporal anomaly coming from the year 2200. The message also brings up some concerning details regarding the nature of the Horizon Gate: 1) The Horizon Gate's origin point changed from A.D. 2195 to A.D. 2200 sometime between the destabilization of the second and third Horizon Gates. 2) Nearly all Magical Energy in the world has drained away. 3) What was once a simple successor to the Clock Tower has become a vast aggregate of research facilities that dominates information technology while holding the remains of the world's Magical Energy. Upon Rayshifting, the Chaldeans find themselves in the middle of the Sixth Residential District. While Kadoc and Ritsuka explore the futuristic city, Olga investigates the city's leylines looking for a place to set up a summoning circle. However, it turns out that they arrived in the midst of a terrorist attack on the office building, the roof of which they are using to establish a quick connection to Chaldea; and they are confronted by law enforcers for suspicious behavior. Lou contacts them directly, implying that he actually predicted their arrival, and declares that he will take out two birds with one stone by hitting both Chaldea and the terrorists with one of the academy's "Great Spells". A mysterious girl rushes in to help the Chaldeans fend off the academy's security robots just as Da Vinci and Olga both sense a large surge of magical energy. A ring of clouds and rainbows forms in the sky and fires a large beam of light on the office. As the Chaldeans narrowly escape through a hidden path with the mysterious girl's help, she introduces herself as the rogue Ruler Class Servant René Descartes.

    Oracle Academy Irregulars
Descartes leads the Chaldeans through the catacombs beneath the academy, following a route specially created to evade the Oracle Towers' predictive tracking algorithms. Taking refuge in an underground Necropolis, Ruler reveals that she had been foretold of Chaldeas' intervention by Bridge Gracefield, who had stopped by the academy on his journey through the Horizon Gates. Apparently, the Bridge didn't stay for very long, and left after a meeting with Lou Rgisgaia went wrong. Ruler also mentions meeting another time traveler and introduces the Chaldeans to John Titor and Saint Germaine, who seems to have gained a stronger interest in opposing the Elysium Society. She then petitions Chaldea for aid, claiming that the vast power weilded by the academy is spreading her thin, and said power has grown even more since Lou recruited some of the other rogue Servants who were summoned to this time period. Aside from the long-term goal of dismantling the Horizon Gate, Ruler mentions investigating the terrorist attacks, the academy's anomalous weather phenomena, and their connection to the depletion of Magical Energy around the world. The Chaldeans share what they know about the OOPArts, the Horizon Gates, and Elysium's goals as part of deal.

    The Witch Hunter's Riddle
The next day, the Chaldeans put on disguises offered to them by Ruler and head out into the Sixth District to investigate the terrorist attack. Everyone in town seems obsessed with the attacks, and the Chaldeans learn that the previous attacks have all shared a certain ostentatious execution to them. Among other things, there seems to be consistent murmurs of some sort of prophecy. While out investigating, Ritsuka and Mash get into a chase with a suspicious Servant in the alleys, where stumble on the corpse of a professor. This turns into a stand-off when the academy's enforcers led by Galileo Galilei arrive to ambush the Servant, who is revealed to be a notorious serial killer that has been targeting the academy's staff. The mysterious Servant declares his intent to execute the academy's "heretical magicians" almost like a practiced performance. While Ritsuka and Mash fight Galileo, Kadoc and Casanova fend off the enigmatic Assassin. Kadoc's anti-beast magecraft proves effective against his opponent who is forced to retreat, but not without issuing a cryptic warning referencing Nostradamus' prophecies.

    Ghosts Under Moonlight
With Galileo forced to retreat from low magical energy supply, the Chaldeans contact Ruler to share their findings. She deduces that the Rider Servant may be the culprit behind a recent string of serial killings targeting the academy's staff. Ruler mentions that the nature of these murders are unique due to how the academy have been unable to predict the deaths. Ruler chalks it up to the way contradictory manner in which the murders are framed by the culprit which confuses the academy's divination. With confirmation that the serial killer is a Servant, Mash connects similarities between the terrorist attacks and the serial killings. Advised by Ruler, the Chaldeans split into two groups: Kadoc, Casanova, John Titor, and Saint Germaine go to investigate the abandoned Second District while Ritsuka, Mash, Olga, and Descartes go to the Fourth District to check the academy's data library for records of the terrorist attacks as to not alert the enemy through the use of the Oracle Towers and Observation Spheres. The first group travels to the Second District through the catacombs and emerge from the nearby ruins of an ancient Greek city. The streets have been infested by wraiths and after setting up a portable workshop, Saint Germaine discovers irregularities in the Leylines that are causing unrest among the spirits of the dead burried beneath the ruins. The Chaldeans would make several trips to the Second District to investigate these hauntings, which leads to a confrontation with a group of suspicious robed individuals performing some sort of ritual during a evening thunderstorm. This sinister assembly is led by the mysterious Rider Servant who introduces himself as the king of Werewolves. He doesn't elaborate much on his reason for being here, but jokes about the irony of being the leader of notorious witch hunters while leading around a band of suspicious mages. The fight eventually escalates into a chase through the catacombs until it causes a cave-in when a combination of the storm causing a flood and Rider's werewolf transformation.

    Concealed Law of the Gods
Meanwhile, the second group is travelling using a more mundane but inconspicuous method, a pick-truck. On the way, Ritsuka picks up a pamphlet from a passing student which ties the prophecies of Nostradamus with some sort of cataclysmic event that will manifest in the academy sometime in the near future. Upon arriving in the Fourth District, the Chaldeans are forced to spend several days infiltrating the Information Faculty as students with Descartes' help with the goal of getting into the data center at the top of Mount Olympus. Through the data center's main computer, the Chaldeans are able to get a brief glimpse of the next Horizon Gate's "coordinates" and allusions to a special research project that Lou is working on as well has his connections with the Wandering Sea's Gate of Ellen. The documents summarize the Gate of Ellen as the gate of Advancement which seeks to replicate the knowledge from the Age of Gods through science and discover an power that can enact miracles to replace True Ether. The Concealed Laws they study is the Tabula Smaragdina. Before they can learn more about Lou's plans, the Chaldeans are discovered by Galileo Galilei and a small army of attack drones, which breaks out into a fight. With much effort, the Chaldeans manage to push the fight in their favor despite Galileo's use of Astromancy and Mystic Codes to control the battlefield.

    Two-Faced Detective
Just when things look hopeful, reinforcements arrive for Galileo arrive in the form of a familiar face, the Great Detective Sherlock Holmes. He reveals that Chaldeas' extreme caution in avoiding the Oracle Towers and their infiltration of the Information Faculty caught his attention, helping him predict their next actions. His deduction was only further confirmed when Olga used her Noble Phantasm to infiltrate the data center's security. Holmes says that he can't keep up his detective disguise like he used to and reintroduces himself as the mage Hermes Trismegistus, claiming to be a Caster Class Servant. Having traded his baritsu for a varied repertoire of magecraft, Hermes Trismegistus proves to be a deadly foe. As the fight escalates, Trismegistus activates his Noble Phantasm to siphon more magical energy from his surroundings; which causes a blackout in the Fourth District before Lou finally interferes with a command seal, allowing Chaldea to escape without. Unfortunately, they were unable to retrieve any data amidst the chaos and only have what little information they were able to glean from the data center's main computer. During the blackout, a massive surge of magical energy radiates from somewhere on the outskirts of the Fourth District, and that night, the Academy's citizens witness a passing meteor shower.

    The Black Zodiac
After spending the night hiding in a section of the catacombs beneath the Fourth District, the Chaldeans try to make their way out of the city only to get caught in the middle of a confrontation between the academy's enforcers led by the Ruler Servant Francis Bacon and a mysterious group calling themselves the Esoteric Order of Black Zodiac led by the blonde haired man who is revealed to be the Caster Servant Count Cagliostro. It turns out that the Fourth District has been placed on temporary lockdown after a patient from a nearby asylum escaped, or so Ruler claims; but the Order's members refuse to accept this explanation and demand answers about a place called the Psyche Brain Lab where experiments on humans with extrasensory powers are conducted. Francis Bacon proceeds to disect and break down The Order's arguments which further sparks tensions. Cagliostro makes another ominous warning, citing Nostradamus' 1999 prophecy. The Chaldeans try to break up the fighting in hopes of gaining assistance from the Black Zodiac, who seem like an eccentric but well meaning group at first glance. This attracts the attention of Galileo and Voltair who join in, hoping to subdue the Chaldeans and the Black Zodiac at the same time. Galileo tries to use on of his Noble Phantasms to launch an orbital strike on the Chaldeans but his attack his deflected by a newcomer who interrupts the battle: a Rider Servant claiming to be Edmond Halley. Rider's immense magical power tips the scales in favor of Chaldea and the Black Zodiac, allowing them to escape as Lou orders Voltair to make a tactical retreat.

    2 Minutes 2 Midnight
After making their way out of the Fourth District, Ritsuka attempts to ask for Cagliostro's help; but the latter declines, stating that he and his group have very important mission that they must complete. Before he parts ways with Ritsuka, he reveals that he has knowledge about Chaldea and wishes them good luck in destabilizing the Horizon Gate, stating that he'll do his best to hasten their goal just a bit. Once Ritsuka's group meets reunite with Kadoc's group at the Necropolis, they exchange stories. Olga shares the fragment of data that was retrieved from the Data Center before they were forced to escape, which fortunately included bits of information about the OOPArt. With knowledge that the Antikythera Mechanism has become a component in Lou's ultimate Mystic Code, Casanova speculates that the stabilization condition of the Horizon Gate is likely unrelated to the construction of the Mystic Code directly but rather to some sort of groundbreaking discovery that will be made with its capabilities. Descartes adds that whatever is going on might relate to Lou's former ties to the Wandering Sea's Gate of Advancement, and consequently, might be the reason he continues to promote the use of Magecraft in secret despite portraying the academy as purely mundane. That evening, the Chaldeans recieve a transmission from Da Vinci and Wells that a "major destabilizing factor" will hit occur in about a week. At the same, the Necropolis gets a visit from Edmond Halley carrying a girl wearing dark robes. She awkwardly introduces herself as the Delphic oracle Pythia, a Caster Servant who is close friends with Descartes. She reveals that a month before Chaldea's arrival, her prophetic visions had begun to malfunction, with her final prophecy involving the birth of a "Wishing Star", the Wise Man's departure, and arrival of "The Star Gazers" on when the Rainbow Sword strikes. She hasn't been able to use her ability since, until this morning when she received a vision of the academy engulphed in flames and the sky turning blood red. She then uses one of her Noble Phantasms to share the vision with those present, and the prophecy she speaks is nearly a word-for-word match with Michelle Nostradamus' 1999 prophecy.
█ █ █ █At the dawn of the century, in the coming months...
A Great King of Terror will descend from the sky, a pitch black sun.
With the Wishing Star's birth, the seer's eyes awaken to a crimson sky.
The great new city burns and the twin jesters dance on the final stage.

    Conspiracy of Black and White
During the coming days, the Chaldeans begin encountering more of the strange robed people who reveal themselves as the Benandanti, disillusioned scientists and intellectuals who dislike the academy's obscurantism and practice of Magecraft which they believe will bring about dangerous superstition and chaos if spared. While Kadoc and Descartes begin securing a battle plan for the invasion of the First District's Grand Celestial Observatory, Ritsuka and Titor's continue investigating the Benandanti's scheme. While investigating an attempted attack on the third district's cargo ships, Chaldea discovers that the Benandanti is at odds with the Order of the Black Zodiac which consists of radical mages who wish to control the acadmey's scientific progress in the name of preserving Mystery. While the Benandanti were behind the serial killings, the Black Zodiac were behind the terrorist attacks. Because of this, the Chaldeans get into a fight with both Cagliostro and Laignech, where upon the latter reveal that they were rogue Servants summoned by the Counter Force to destabilize the Horizon Gate. Cagliostro also hints at having met Foreigner of the End. Another point of similarity seems to be both Servants' obsession with the prophecy of Nostradamus. After returning from this battle, the Chaldeans draw up their invasion plan of the First District with added contingencies against the interference of the two secret orders.

    Judgement Day
On the planned day, before Chaldea can even process what happened, the Necropolis is attacked by the academy's governing body, consisting of four Pseudo-Servants: Galileo Galilei, Pliny the Elder, Francis Bacon, and Isaac Newton. With their plans derailed, the Chaldeans improvise and take advantage of their large numbers to accomplish their main objective. John Titor and Saint Germaine, Kadoc and Casanova, Xiang Yu, Edmond Halley, and Pythia help keep the enemy preoccupied. Meanwhile, Ritsuka, Mash, Paracelsus, Olga, and Descartes sneak through the catacombs in an attempt to reach the First District as soon as possible. Newton faces off against Edmond Halley, who doesn't seem to behave or act at all like the Edmond Halley he was familiar with; similarly, Francis Bacon has trouble predicting the abilities of the scientist whom inspired him so much. As the fight draws out, however, Pliny notices something odd about her abilities with his incredibly trained observation skills. Meanwhile, Ritsuka's group take an empty shuttle to get to the First District. On the way, he recieves a direct call from Lou Rgisgaia, taunting him and casually how he has predicted this encounter since the incident at the Data Center. Without warning, a spike in magical energy surges throughout the First District's Oracle Towers as Lou prepares a Great Spell that begins causing a freak thunder storm Ritsuka, Mash, Olga, and Descartes scale the government building to reach the Grand Celestial Observatory while fighting off security robots and enforcers until they reach their final opponent in the Observatory's main hall: Lou Rgisgaia and his Servant Trismegistus Voltair. As an opponent who specializes in Divination and a Servant who is very familiar with Chaldeas' combat capabilities, Lou and Voltair make for some of the toughest opponents that Ritsuka have faced that wasn't some sort world ending calamity. Just when things are looking their worst and Voltair is ready to strike them with a counter attack made of magical energy absorbed by his Noble Phantasm during the fight, his attack is blocked by Edmond Halley rocketing towards him like a shooting star. The Rider Servant explains that their group was able to push back the Planespheric council far back enough that Rider was able to make her way to join Ritsuka. It's at this moment that she reveals her true name, Halley's Comet.

    The Great King of Terror
In a final bid to defeat the Chaldeans, Lou channels all his remaining magical energy into activating one last Great Spell, starting a powerful chain reaction. The Oracle Towers all over the academy begin synchronizing and forming a giant magic circuit using the magical energy within the land's leylines and to cast a powerful astromancy spell Celestial Luster: Blue Moon. Before the spell's effects could be actualized though, something hijacks the magical circuit as a giant pyramid of light appears over the academy. A trio of voices echo across the academy through speakers, announcing the arrival of the Great King of Terror. The source of the voices introduce themselves as Cagliostro, Laignech, and the Foreigner Servant Michelle Nostradamus, the true mastermind behind both the Benandanti and the Black Zodiac. While their members where in heated conflict, the Servants at the top of the two organizations were secretly in collaboration to undermine the academy. The giant pyramid in the sky, a part of Cagliostro's Noble Phantasm
    Lost Rites of Egypt
    Grand Kopt
, a vast temple structure that amplifies the connection between the spiritual and physical realms. With a combination of this and Nostradamus' Noble Phantasm, a giant hole opens in the sky, summoning forth a large sphere of darkness with a single glowing red eye; The Outer God Ghroth, manifesting as the Great King of Terror from the prophecy. As Ghroth begins descending towards the Earth, it unleashes a rain of fire everywhere and sucking buildings towards it like a blackhole. Back in the present, Da Vinci announces that the Horizon Gate is beginning to destabilize at an increasing rate, but that the presence of the Great King of Terror may also cause lasting damage to Proper Human History.

    Oracles' Burning Metropolis
As the Outer God Ghroth descends on the academy in form of the Great King of Terror, Lou Rgisgaia uses his Mystic Code to peer into the future but can only prophesy either a flaming world thrown back into the dark ages under the control of a maddened Nostradamus OR a post-apocalypse world covered in lush greenery. On the verge of death, Lou curses the Counter Force for "betraying" him and the Chaldeans for their rejection of his perfect future. He orders Voltair to avenge him and salvage whatever remains of the Horizon Gate's magical energy and the power of the Outer God using Prisca Theologia, but the latter is conflicted both out of a desire to honor Chaldea's victory over the two of them and due to the prophetic visions shown by Lou's Mystic Eyes. Seeking the most favorable outcome for humanity's survival, Voltair chooses to put Lou's contingency aside until Ghroth is incapacitated. Meanwhile, the Chaldeans are forced to ally with the Planispheric Council to stop the ongoing crisis. Fortunately, the governing body is more eager to put aside their conflict with Chaldea in favor of directly protecting their home. And so, the the newly formed alliance fight their way through hordes of Benandanti/Black Zodiac members and eldritch horrors. Sir Francis Bacon uses his Noble Phantasm to analyze the components of the ritual maintaining Ghroth and pinpoints Nostradamus' workshop protected within the Grand Koft as the focus point of the ritual. In response, Isaac Newton uses his control over the force of gravity to propel the Chaldeans and the council up to the Koft. There is a gauntlet of battles against Laignech and Cagliostro who guard the outer walls and inner temple of the pyramid respectively. Descartes briefly manifests in his true form due to the conditions within the Grand Koft and takes a fatal blow for his host. Casanova duels against Cagliostro, exchanging both physical attacks and insults due to being contemporaries involved in the Diamond Affair. Casanova exposes a weakness in Cagliostro through the latter's Innocent Monster. The penultimate boss waiting in the depths of the Grand Koft is Nostradamus who faces off against Pythia in some bizarre form of "Oracle's duel" seemingly involves pitting familiars summoned through divination implements against each other.

    And there appeared a Star
While the alliance is fighting Nostradamus & co. Ritsuka, Mash, and Halley's Comet finish their battle against Voltair and Lou. Ghroth descends onto the academy as Lou is on the verge of death, diverting Ritsuka's attention who is somewhat hesitant to strike down the Wandering Sea Mage who seems to have been violently protecting the "nation" he founded. As Ritsuka prepares to leave the observatory to catch up with the alliance, Voltair approaches the former and offers his help, stating that he doesn't entirely trust the risks involved in Lou's final gambit and that he feels the need to incapacitate the Outer God before preparing any follow-up schemes on behalf of Elysium. While he cannot act directly in order to preserve what little magical energy he has left, Voltair does explain to Halley's Comet how to use her Noble Phantasm to its fullest extent; all while dropping a subtle hint about Lou's study of the Sixth Imaginary Factor and the true purpose of the Horizon Gates to Ritsuka in a familiarly Holmes-like manner. Taking that last piece of advice to heart, Ritsuka goes back up to the observatory in order to get within an acceptable height to attack the falling Outer God before informing the rest of Chaldea about his plan. Once the alliance disables Cagliostro's Noble Phantasm and defeat Nostradamus, Halley's Comet takes the opportunity to strike at the weakened Outer God with Isti Mirantu Stella fully powered by the academy denizens' desire to live and see the future. This attack barely makes a dent in Ghroth, although it does manage to push the Outer God back through the tear in reality from which it was summoned.

    Epilogue / Chaldea Aquarius
Due to the timely defeat of Ghroth and the isolated location of the First District, major damage to the rest of the academy was averted. Aside from the ruined capital, the only trace of the Outer God's visit are small surface samples that broke off from the living planet upon impact with Halley's Noble Phantasm. In the aftermath of the averted apocalypse, the city starts rebuilding and any terrorists involved with Nostradamus' group is arrested. That night, a bright pillar of light emerges from the Grand Observatory, a temporal anomaly, signaling fractures in the Horizon Gate reaching its peak. Voltair quietly slips through the temporal anomaly after gathering a small sample of Ghroth. Due to the high level of stability the Horizon Gate had, Da Vinci theorizes that this "peak" may last a few days to retrieve some data from the Fourth District that could help in pinpoint the next Horizon Gate and figure out just what was going on. Without Lou and Voltair around to enforce hostilities, the Planispheric Council was amenable to negotiations for relevant data once misunderstandings were cleared. And so, on the last day of their stay, the Chaldeans used Olga Marie's Disentanglement Cannon on the OOPart to complete the Horizon Gate's "collapse" into multiple possibilities once more. Major supernatural damage to the world left in the wake of the Second Great Occult War alongside the draining of the world's magical energy by Prisca Theologia is mostly fixed. As the Chaldeans are about to leave, Ritsuka decides to satiate his curiosity and asks John Titor about the mysterious friend he's been chasing and whether he's found them yet. Whether its from having grown to trust Ritsuka and company or from being caught off guard, John answers:
"The enemy I'm chasing, and the friend I lost years ago is Cartwright Animusphere director of the Organization for the Restoration of Humanity: Aquarius Chaldea, whom I now believe to be collaborating with Elysium."
And with these ominous final words, John Titor leaves. The Chaldeans return to base in silence, still processing the information they just recieved. Several days later, Da Vinci and Wells announce the discovery of the next Horizon Gate: The sole Quantum Timelock looming over humanity's future, the judgement day for the Age of Man and the cut-off point of mankind's childhood, doomsday theorists among the world of Magecraft call it "Overcount".
    Horizon Gate cleared! Possibilities Restored.

Call me a heretic, a traitor, whatever you would like. I have not time for the Present: neither its history nor its people. May the sands of time burry you.

    Personality
Lou Rgisgaia is an ambitious sort who acts like he has no time to waste and no hope for the present era. Of course, he's also very eager to socialize with people who share similarly grandiose ambitions as he does. This is his reason for founding the Elysium Society as a small club that gave those who desired to overturn the very foundations of the world on its head or make their mark on history. His personality seems ot change depending on who he is around. To his friends, he is the soft spoken, mild mannered "class president" who brings the group together. To everyone else, he is polite but dismissive, as if he is constantly a hurry. To his enemies, he is bombastically and arrogantly adversarial, taking pleasure in outwitting and defeating them. His attitude seems to have mellowed out a bit since becoming the shadow ruler behind the Oracle Academy, but this can be chalked up to living in the future of his dreams.

    Whispered in the dark...
    Backstory
It is unknown from whence he came or who he truly is. Much like the organization he created, records of Lou Rgisgaia within the Mage Association are muddled in rumors, myths, and half truths. Certain circles within the Clock Tower tell stories of the Spiritron Calculator prototype which supposedly earned him the Noble Color Yellow, or his prediction of some of the Clock Tower's greatest crises of the current century and even centuries past. There are even some who believe his is a Dead Apostle Ancestor in disguise. There have been documents circulated that imply a connections to the Temple of Apollo in Greece and involvement in secretive projects with the European Council for Nuclear Studies (CERN). An investigation was done at one point, which revealed the existence of an Rgisgaia family within the Department of Archaeology who claim to have had a son who joined the Wandering Sea. Contemporarily, the veracity of this investigation has been brought into question with some believing the family members were revealed to have been lying to create an origin for the enigmatic genius. The most consistent evidence of his existence is his prominent appearance at auctions hosted by the Mystic Eye Collection Train and leaked correspondence with the Department of Lore from whence the rumors of the Elysium Society first sprang. Lou claims to have snuck his way into the Wandering Sea by predicting their location through the use of his Spiritron Calculator, and that his numerous inconsistent appearances are a result of the Wandering Sea's existence outside the normal flow of time.

    God of prophecy
    Composite Gazing Orb
    Mystic Eye of Prophecy
An artificial Mystic Eye meant to imitate the prophetic eye of the Grey Sisters in Greek Mythology. It was a longtime project which Lou made to enhance his Divination. A majority of the time making it was spent obtaining traces of divinity from both the Grey Sisters and several other triplicate Goddesses which involved exchanging favors powerful witches and illusive cults. It was Lou's induction into the Gate of Advancement which finally allowed him the right connections to complete the project. As part of a transaction with the Gate of Storage, Lou was able to obtain a Divine Core of the god Proteus, which he used to further enhance the Mystic Eye of Prophecy. These eyes are said to be able to see into alternate futures.

    Sacred Geometry
A brand of Magecraft derived from the teachings of Plato and Kepler, it is an ancient mystery that permeates human culture to this day. It is a belief that there are reoccuring shapes, geometric constructs, and numerical patterns that make up the universe. Not even the reason of science can escape the pattern of sacred patterns which repeat through all of creation; numbers and geometric constructs that represent completion, perfection. For example, there is the Golden Ratio, a pattern associated with architectural harmony. It is by invoking these foundational shapes and formulas that Lou can manipulate the flow of magical energy, enhance / disrupt spells, and more. It is a simple yet versatile art. A magecraft which has persevered, nearly unchanged, across the centuries. Some say it has even grown stronger, as proof of its influence spreads. It is for this longevity and prominence that Lou started studying sacred geometry and its related subjects.

Lou's main specialization, is Divination: the art of revealing the fate and fortune of others. It can reveal powerful bonds, deeply rooted curses, and great blessings. And with enough skill, it can even foretell the destiny of entire nations.
    Divination

    Mystic Code: Tarot Cards
Special cards used for telling the future. There are many different suits of Tarot cards, with each card representing some sort of personal quality or obstacle along one's journey. Upright cards are usually positive or represent overcoming hardship, whilst cards revealed upside-down represent succumbing to one's flaws and hardships. The most widely used version of the Tarot is the Major Arcana, but even the poker cards can be used for divination. Lou uses these in tandem with his personal observation sphere and Spiritron Calculator to cast minor offensive spells.

    Mystic Code:
    Spiritron Calculator
    Micromegas

A large computation device designed to predict the future on a large scale. Rather than provide prophecies of major turning points, Micromegas focuses on the day-to-day fluctuations of society. This allows for the efficient management of recourses for the Oracle Academy and the detecting of cultural trends that to be promoted or discouraged. This is one of the ways the academy maintains its careful balance of magecraft and science. As its name implies, Micromegas observes the souls of those around it to gather sensory and emotional data, thereby creating an algorithm for divining the future. The addition of the OOPArt to its construction has vastly increased Micromegas' computation power. Lou claims that it was inspired by one of his science fiction books.

    Sympathetic Magecraft
A type of magecraft which focuses on obtaining information from forging a connection with someone. Because such a deep connection can be exploited in equal measure by a perceptive or strong willed target, enthusiastic applications of this art is dangerous against other Mages. However, Lou's expert usage of this art in junction with his Divination might imply that it is a Sorcery Trait of the Rgisgaia family.

Lou has one final trump card up his sleeve, at least in the Horizon Gate. By tapping into the network of Oracle Towers scattered throughout the academy, Lou can draw on the power of all the magical energy within the academy's Leylines. Then, by channeling this energy into a large-scale magic circuit created using Sacred Geometry, Lou can invoke devastating natural disasters. These are called Great Spells, rituals created by the Planespheric Council by observing rare weather phenomena. There are currently three Great Spells, each equivalent to an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm in power.
    Great Spells

    Seven Rays
    Rainbow Sword

A beam of concentrated sunlight created from observing the Double Rainbow phenomenon. A circle of clouds in the air reflect light into two rings of multicolored light which then merge in the the center of the circle. This light is then released as a blast down onto a target in a shape resembling a sword. This spell takes additional imagery from the "Divine Rays", a reoccurring symbol found alongside saints, holy relics, and gods of various religions.

    Witch's Burial
    Rainy Day Sun

The most chaotic but simple of the Great Spells. It was created from observing a thunderstorm on a sunny day. There are supersitions that claim that a storm on a sunny day is an omen. Some believe that this signifies the death of a witch or a powerful phantasmal beast. It is merely a spell that creates terribly bad weather at convenience. Because it requires the user to go into catatonic state to use.

    Luster of the Heavens
    Blue Moon

A newly made spell created from observing the rare 13th yearly full moon, otherwise known as the Blue Moon. A spell closely tied to Lou's Sacred Geometry, as 13 is a number with powerful mystical significance. Blue Moon is only the first in a chain of spells designed to "ascend" the caster through the Celestial Spheres in alignment with the Seven Hermetic Principles. This spell specifically governs the principle of rythm, the swinging of the pendulum, allowing the user to control the flow and state of water.

The breath of life overflows across the grave-like world.
A garden of steel and concrete awaits, and at its center lies the slumbering Mother Goddess.
The next battle is an odyssey through the super ancient continent.
Meanwhile, floating above the clouds is...

    Notes

After much time spent drawing, researching, typing, and overcoming burn out, the Fourth Horizon Gate is done. Lemme know what you all thought about it. I think I might have fudged the mystery element a bit, especially the details of the whole Nostradamus Prophecy psy-op that the antagonists were doing. This had my favorite servant roster for me in terms of designing, especially the famous scholars. Pliny and Galileo's designs came out rlly great imo, but Francis Bacon is kind of meh. I wanted to go for a mix of period appropriate attire and futuristic elements, but it didn't work out in the end. My absolute favorite designs are probably Voltair, Edmond Halley, and Nostradamus; they came out looking rlly clean. I had trouble mixing Hermes Trismegistus and Voltair a bit in the character sheet, but after a watching a lot of biographies and some videos on Hermetica, I think I did a decent job. As for Lou, hopefully his sheet lives up the hype of the Wandering Sea enough, idk if I overdid it, or if I swerved on the direction. He seems more like an coked up Atlas Mage. His Mystic Code, the Calculator, was based on the Deep Thought computer from Hitchhiker's Guide... or at least what I remembered about Deep Thought. The next stop on the Horizon Gate is going to be WILD! I'm am VERY VERY excited to get started on it.

Horizon Gate 4: Absolutely spectacular as always! The mystery elements were really fascinating, the setting was complex, and Lou Rgisgaia certainly lives up to the hype! Add to that an excellent Servant roster and some truly major plot developments, and this might just be my favorite Horizon Gate yet! Awesome work, and I'm so excited to see what's coming next!

This Horizon Gate was worth the wait!

Was really surprised by the Lou's Servant

Also found all the Pseudos a good choice to deepen the connection to the factions in play.

Name: Village of Crimson Blood: Csejte
    Subtitle: The Crimson Blood Countess
    Lost Depth: A+

    Origin: 1614 A.D.
    Location: Kingdom of Hungary
    King: Elizabeth Báthory (Harbringer)
    Crypter: Miklós Nádasdy
    Fantasy Tree: Blood Moon

    History:
In the year, 1609, the Hungarian Noblewoman, Countess & Serial Murderer, Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed was arrested for the murders of more than 600 young women and was confined to her castle, Castle Csejte, where she would die in 1614 due to mysterious circumstances.

This is a world in which Báthory never got caught and kept murdering people.

The accusations and rumours of Elizabeth's atrocities had spread throughout the kingdom had happened, and the 300 witness statements lined up to have these rumours and accusation become truth. However, Báthory expected that this would happen and would end up capturing witnesses and started torturing them. However, 5 of Elizabeth's servants/accomplices, Dorotya Semtész, Ilona Jó, Katarína Benická, Erzsi Majorova and János Újváry ("Ibis" or Fickó), would end up being captured. However, this did not stop Elizabeth's spree, even without her accomplices and with Matthias Corvinus II, István Magyari & György Thurzó and his two notaries, András Keresztúry and Mózes Cziráky, on her trail. And while her accomplices were either executed or arrested, chaos still spread over Csejte and the Kingdom of Hungary. However, despite aid from family, including her son, Paul Nádasdy and two of her sons-in-law, Nikola VI Zrinski and György Drugeth, she would end up cornered by Matthias II & György Thurzó as well as their knights and men.

However.... Just as Elizabeth Báthory was about to be arrested and possibly executed.... Something unexpected happened.... Something impossible....

Elizabeth changed, and her appearance became more vampiric and bat-like, resembling a hybrid between Nosferatu and a humanoid bat with a metallic looking bear trap jaw over her mouth and Her eyes turned completely white with glowing blood crimson/vermillion red pupils.

She released a wave of dark energy that knocked away Matthias II, Thurzó and the knights as dark blood magic surged through her body and in almost an instant, the blood of Thurzó and the knights and Matthias II were spilled. And she used their blood to revive her late husband, Ferenc II Nádasdy de Nádasd et Fogarasföld, or Ferenc Nádasdy for short, as a vampire.

Years passed and now Báthory now went by a new title:
    Blood Harbringer
    Elizabeth Báthory
    .
    Elizabeth Báthory (Harbringer)
The Kingdom of Hungary and all of Csejte was now a kingdom of blood. The carnage that happened after the transformation of Elizabeth Báthory is of a level that would be redundant to comment upon. Matthias II was beheaded and drained of his blood as a spiritual enemy to Báthory, and the kingdom fell under the unilateral power of the Blood Harbringer Elizabeth Báthory de Esced.

Just then, strangely, in a matter of days, an enormous percentage of the population of Csejte was also culled; attributed to a vampiric disease. What was thought to be a plague similar to the Black Death or the Bubonic Plague, was in reality a truly alien disease that turned the villagers of Csejte into bloodthirsty vampiric fiends that were loyal to their harbringer and queen. Some say that this is the Báthory family curse in effect, others say that, through the machinations of Ferenc Nádasdy, this is the work of an otherworldly deity from the outer regions beyond the cosmos. The supernaturally, yet otherworldly ailment that lied inside their veins quickly spread and mutated the entier population of Csejte. The population was no longer human, but something far more different, something that thirsts for mortal blood. These who were once human are now called something else: Izcacuses.

    Izcacus

These vampiric beings were now stronger, faster, deadlier and allegedly immortal. Báthory touted this new species as the evolution of all mankind and that they would dominate not just all of the Kingdom of Hungary, not just all of Europe, but the entire world. Now with her new army of blood-drinking Izcacuses, Báthory seeks to conquer the world.

However, despite all of Csejte now turned into these blood drinking fiends, there is a resistance: a pocket of humans who not only seek to destroy Elizabeth Báthory, but also have the power of the Lord at their side. These freedom fighters who are immune to this plague are led by two brave heroes, them being Matthias Corvinus I & Miklós Toldi.

    Matthias Corvinus

    Miklós Toldi

This would begin a battle between the mortals and the Izcacuses and their queen, Elizabeth Báthory, to either save all of mankind from darkness or to doom it to a bloody, vampiric fate.

Thank you. The Izcacus design was made by MexicanKaiju on DeviantArt. Credit goes to them for that art.

OK Damn, Horizon Gate 4 was definitely worth the wait and it delivered! Like I’m actually sad that there’s only one gate left at this point in time and would want to see 2 more for a total of 7, well 8 with the obvious True Final Boss after all gates are cleared XP

Anyway, as a question, how would a duel between Kirstachia Wodime and Lou Rgisgaia, both at their absolute best with all arsenal, tools, territories and their Servants go down? Make your bets folks!

    GOOD LUCK!

Whoa dude where did you get the impression there's only one left xD Don't worry, you're getting the full package. Horizon Gates 5, 6, and 7 are gonna be completely off the rockers in terms of setting.
