My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 85: The concert was amazing, everyone was having so much fun and Eri smiling was so heartwarming. All the references in the play made me laugh so hard, I can't believe they did that. And I guess since his crimes were so minor, Gentle Criminal was given a second chance. I figured he wouldn't be punished that badly. I wish he and La Brava well.

(Is this even the correct thread for it?) Started watching Ahiru no Sora yesterday, got up to ep.18 out of 31 out currently. Good show, actual honest-to-God basketball- focused, but I just can't quite get into it. The pacing feels extemely slow (4 eps for a single friendly match) yet at the same time important character moments get relegated to flashbacks or glossed over/offscreened entirely. The basketball is stridently realistic, with actual strategies and tactics brought up, yet the story remains entirely "anime" with characters' competency levels rubberbanding depending on the plot's demands. And there's just enough "horny teenager" jokes to keep me on the edge of uncomfortable. All in all, I like it. I want to like it, basketball is a sport I love and few media really do it justice. But I wanted it to be another Haikyuu, and I'm just coming to realise how high that particular bar is (shark jump notwithstanding).
shit BL says
Once and always and nevermore.
I always find I enjoy sports anime about things I don't personally enjoy. It helps empathize with the discovery that the MC is often going through. It's not like I have that big a sample size to work with in the first place though, I've never seen a hockey anime and All Out just couldn't my attention.

My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 86:So Eri's going to live at the school now, that's nice. They can never let All For One use his powers for any reason, and I'm still wondering how they're keeping someone as strong as him confined.
So that's Hawks, the new number 2 hero. But it's crazy how he started an agency at 18 and made the top of the hero list in the same year. All before the age of 20, he's some sort of prodigy. He's pretty cocky too, but he's not a bad guy. The Heroes Rising movie information says he can independently manipulate every single feather and fly. That didn't sound pretty impressive, but just having a little taste of what he can do showed how cool that is.
I like how the kid liked it better when Endeavor was mean than trying to nice, what a strange kind of fan. And I liked his old costume better.
A Noumu that can talk, and there might be even more of them... Haven't seen them in a while, but it looks like they're making a comeback in a very big way.

My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 87: I like that his kids mentioned how horrible he was when the episode started, you can't forget that. But I didn't think he was actually visiting his wife repeatedly. He really is trying to be better... Both Endeavor and Hawks were so amazing. It's a shame that Hawks can't just regrow his feathers instantly, he has to retrieve them, but even so they're so versatile. And that Noumu was so powerful and it could even talk and think for itself.
How many more like that one are there?
This was probably the best episode in the entire season, both halves. The fight between Endeavor and that Noumu and how it ended was so awesome. It just had me at the edge of my seat, it was so intense. That part at the end of the episode though... Well, I liked this season, I can't wait season 5.
