Actually focus on japanese servants is rare for Fate. And even in GO, it seems to me from what I've spoiled myself that there's still more focus and wanking on non-japanese servants than japanese (even if there's still tons of japanese. But GO has shitton of servants).

Oh, it's gone worse over time. You mention Nero, but Nero and Artoria are somewhat relics from a time where Japanese history wasn't such a large subject on the franchise to the detriment of other parts of the world, which is the real problem. Japan has over two dozens of Servants not counting multiple variants of Okita or Oda now, while parts of the world like Sub-Saharian Africa or South America (Quetzalcoatl is from Mexico, which is geographically North America, and she's basically a space alien anyway) don't even have a single representative despite being just as important or more as wholes for the course of human history than Japan, a notoriously self-secluded country for long, ever was.
It doesn't help that except for enough characters to literally count with the fingers of a hand, all pseudo-Demi-Servants are posesssing Japanese bodies. And that Japan is the only country to get regular themed yearly events once a year, when not even more often than that.
